- Gamblers Table 2.0 - 20 July 2026
Its finally here: The big 2.0 update for Gamblers Table is live! While many people liked the game, there was also a lot of constructive feedback, with the two main points being that the game feels a bit too stretched and with too little content to support the playtime. With this update we set out to fix those issues by adding a bunch of new content and by overall accelera…

- Skilltree Rework - 19 March 2026
Hi everyone! We are currently working on an experimental update for Gamblers Table and are looking for some testers and feedback.Let me pre-face this by saying: This is not a content update! We know that you are eagerly awaiting new content but before adding new features we first would like to try improving the foundation of the game. The experimental build is a rework of the skilltree, it increases the amount of unlockable skillpoints to 131. The extra points are used for passive bonuses and skilling certain talents up to 3 times but there are no new mechanics yet. The skillpoints are unlocked much faster than before, keeping the gameplay length about the same. We hope to give players more strategic choice and more frequent upgrades that way.We are mainly looking for feedback in two areas: Does the new, enlarged skilltree feel generally better than the old version or is it more or less…
- Patch Notes - 17 January 2026
Implemented a rolling save system. This means the game continously generates backups of your save system. Should Steam Cloud act up, your PC crash or your power go out - then your save file should be backed up locally. We're extremely sorry to anyone that lost their save file.Moved "Pocket Change" to the middle of the skill tree to make it more impactful and give more options at the beginning.Moved "Overtake" to the middle of the skill tree to make it more impactful and give more options at the beginning.Rotten Table now only accounts for purchased helpers and coins. The starting coin does not add to the count, meaning "Pocket Change" no longer affects it.Marmor table now only accounts for purchased helpers, meaning "Pocket Change" no longer affects it.Tile table now only accounts for purchased coins, meaning "Pocket Change" no longer affects it.fixed tool tip shaking if it overlaps the…

And its super interesting to read them all. I'd love to go over some of the data and talk about it with you. If this doesn't interest you, totally fair! You can skip ahead to "Changelog".Your Feedback"Have you played the demo?""Woah, a ton of you have played the demo! And even 25% percent say they completed it, which is bonkers! The reason we included the question about the demo is because we wanted to know whether the people that played the demo are more negatively positioned towards the release than the ones that haven't played it - and that does seem to be the case.We have understood that especially…

- Gambling in Gamblers Table - 19 October 2025
Hey there! Welcome to the October update for the development progress of Gamblers Table. In this update post I'd like to go over some new cool features, new gameplay elements and more UI and QoL improvements,FAQI'd also like to use this platform to answer some frequently asked questions we have received over the past months, so lets start with that!Question: Why has the game not released yet? || When are you going to release? || Is this ever coming out?Answer: We’ve been getting a lot of these messages lately, and we totally get why. The demo landed really well, and we’re super happy about that. From the outside, it might look like we just need to add a few skills and hit “release,” but there are two big reasons why it’s taking time. First, Tim and I (Sven) are the only ones working on this game - in our free time. We both have full-time jobs, families, and everything else that comes wit…
- September Update - 25 September 2025
Hey everybody! It’s been a while since we shared our progress, so we are happy to finally give you an update on what we have been working on!First of all, I’m proud to show off the current talent tree. We added 10(!) new talents so far, which brings the current total to 19, more than twice the amount of the Demo! I don’t want to spoil them all already, so you can speculate a bit based on the icons. Let’s take a look at only two of the new talents for now.The first is one of the most suggested talents from the community, oxidizing copper coins. When you don’t interact with copper coins for a while they start to oxidize and then grant bonus money when you ultimately flip them. The second one has been super fun to animate and made me laugh a few times^^you vs. the guy she told you not to worry about:We have also been sharing some very early work in progress screenshots of a new thief-helper…
