  🐢 Demo Patch #3! 🐢A Week in and we got around to add a few things with everyone's feedback:Added German localization! You can choose your language in the main menu by clicking on the flagsPolished Evidence Board. We got a lot of feedback that the purpose of the evidence board seemed unclear and turned out to be less of a help than we wanted it to be. So we adjusted it a bit to make it more clear as to what information is being displayed and what information is needed to progress. We're very curious what the thoughts are on this change!   Second demo patch coming up!🐢It's almost been a week since we launched the demo and after about ~100 people playing it we got some data trickling in and some good leads on what we need to improve! So, before we release our big patch on Friday, we decided that we need to get some of the improvements out sooner. For one, we adjusted the player onboarding experience since it is still very difficult. And we also changed some conversation mode choices, after we identified it as a pain point from some player feedback we received.   First demo patch coming up!🐢Thank you to everyone who played our demo so far and left any kind of feedback! It helped us a bunch already to plan some adjustments for next week! What's happening in the patch:We adjusted the conversation mode behind the scenes. Previously the player was given more leeway with what they could write during dialogues. This leeway left too much room for the LLM to misinterpret the player input and send them down an unexpected dialogue path. We made the rules for that a bit more strict to try and fix that. The release button has been pressed, you can head over to the demo \ and download it right away! Get ready for about 1 1/2h - 2h of gameplay with the prologue and the first chapter of the case! We had to make a last minute decisions to postpone the German version of the demo. We started with everything in English and noticed that it took us too much time right now to translate everything into non cringe sounding German. But we will patch that in soon!   About that demo..Hey everyone! 🐢We hope everyone had a great start into the year!! We have a bit of a mixed bag of news to share to kick the new year off. Good news first We're super excited to share that Code: 9 got approved by the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) to receive funding for part of the game's development!! Words cannot describe how happy we were to learn the news and how it gave us a great motivational boost! Not only will that funding allow us to focus better on the game and upgrade from rice and beans to the occasional cheeky pizza, but it will also give us the opportunity to invest more into the game.
