- Polar Star, now stutter-free - 12 May 2025
Update 0.3.3 brings Polar Star to Godot 4.4! This update focuses on improving performance of the game, especially getting rid of the stutters caused by shader compilation. Also save file can self-heal now: if a variable is missing from the file, the game will fill it up automatically, so nothing in your settings or save will break. But the update has a new feature too: the death screen now shows your personal best score in the custom endless mode. The full game is actively being worked on, and the development is going pretty smoothly right now, so stay tuned for future updates.
