  Sadly, due to some complications and unexpected delays during Steam’s review process, Buried Below will no longer be releasing on August 12.We finally received feedback from Steam, but with some additional changes requested and another review still required afterwards, there simply isn’t enough time left for me to comfortably promise Wednesday’s launch.Rather than wait until the very last moment and hope everything gets cleared in time, I’ve decided to postpone the release and make sure everything is properly approved before committing to another date.A new release date will be announced as soon as we receive the final green light from Steam.   Buried Below Demo Update 2 is now live.This is a bigger demo improvement update focused on pacing, interaction, exploration, controller support, bug fixes and giving players a better look at what comes after the intro. The biggest change is that the demo has been extended. Instead of ending shortly after the forest intro section the demo now continues further and reaches a new cemetery scene. The first Buried Below demo hotfix is now live on itch and being published to steam in a few minutes.Thank you so much to everyone who has played, commented, rated, wishlisted, streamed or reported issues so far. I’m reading the feedback closely and already pushed a fast patch for the most important things people ran into.Fixed and improved:The demo no longer ends randomly or from picking up items like rocks. That was not intended. It now ends through the proper forest progression moment with narration.Fixed a bug where crouching near before picking up the backpack could break the game's flow and cause you to be a snake (permanently crouched but with normal walk speed).Increased the clerk's rap volume on the store's PC.Reduced the hand washing and hand dryer interaction time.Reduced the cooldown before the guitar can be interacted with again.Added a small slee…
