- Dev update/082026: Weapon Turrets - Harpy - 31 August 2026
Hi!August Dev update is here.I’ve been working on the turret visuals this month.Vailerd provided the updated version of their kinetic Harpy turret.(All concepts shown are still WIP and not final in-game visuals.)It’s one of the workhorses across all sectors. It’s cheap and reliable, with a decent amount of durability relative to the number of shots fired. You can always see the old Harpy models on one of the arena fights.(As a remark: for all turrets in the upcoming demo I intentionally will not add animations, to reduce the workload for the demo and focus more on polishing and game mechanics)Thank you!-Alex
- Dev update/072026: Cinematic - Teaser - 31 July 2026
Hi!July Dev UpdateI hope you enjoy it and get a real feel for the project's atmosphere! All the turning gears and sweat poured into this project are now heading toward the DEMO. I’ll do my best to get it out in Q4 this year - though reality may have other plans.Thank you!-Alex
- Dev update/062026: new agrav chassis EULE - final chassis for the demo. - 30 June 2026
Hi!June Dev UpdateIntroducing the "EULE", a concept mech from the Pa.K manufacturer.(Note: All concepts shown are still WIP and do not represent final in-game visuals.)The EULE is the lightest mech in the Pa.K’s anti-gravity (agrav) lineup.Like all agravs, the EULE can smoothly hover over small obstacles without destroying them. Its excellent mobility gives it a significant advantage in arena combat, especially when you need to quickly break line of sight or reposition. However, this comes at the cost of minimal hardpoints and auxiliary slots. It is probably one of the most complex mechs across all lineups. Since the EULE is the last chassis planned for the demo, my hands are a bit freer now. I can finally focus on the other parts of the project.A big thank you to everyone who added the project to their Wishlist! You keep me motivated to keep working on it.I hope you’ll like the teaser!…
- Dev update/052026: new agrav chassis Rabe - 31 May 2026
Hi!May Dev UpdateIntroducing the "RABE", a concept mech from the Pa.K manufacturer.(Note: All concepts shown are still WIP and do not represent final in-game visuals.)The RABE currently serves as a modified, lightweight version of its larger sibling in Pa.K’s agrav (anti-gravity) lineup.Like all agravs, the RABE can smoothly hover over small obstacles without destroying them. This gives it a significant advantage in arena combat, especially when you need to quickly break line of sight or reposition. However, as with most agrav chassis, the RABE has relatively low structural durability. Due to its smaller size, it also features a limited number of auxiliary and chassis slots. Because of these trade-offs, it's recommended only for advanced and seasoned pilots. On the other side of the project, I am fully focused on producing project cinematic teaser. Hopefully, I can finish that up soon too…
- Dev update/042026: new agrav chassis Geier - 30 April 2026
Hi!April Dev UpdateIntroducing the "GEIER", a concept mech from the Pa.K manufacturer.(All concepts shown are still WIP and not final in-game visuals.)The GEIER currently serves as the flagship of Pa.K’s agrav (anti-gravity) lineup. Thanks to its versatile hover system, the GEIER can smoothly fly over small obstacles without destroying them. This gives it a significant advantage in arena combat, especially when you need to quickly break line of sight or reposition. However, as with most agrav chassis, the GEIER has relatively light structural durability. In return, it offers a high number of turret and auxiliary slots, while having limited additional chassis slots. This makes the GEIER quite challenging for new pilots, but a very rewarding choice for seasoned ones who want to test and refine their skills.Thank you!-Alex
- Dev update/032026: new walker chassis Ricun-T - 31 March 2026
Hi!March Dev UpdateIntroducing the "RICUN-T", a concept mech from the ATYPID manufacturer.(All concepts shown are still WIP and not final in-game visuals.)The RICUN-T is built for harshest environments. It's designed to handle extremely rough terrain like its big brothers from H and Q series. It carries the fewest turret slots of any mech in its class, but its ultra-slim profile makes it a slippery, hard-to-hit target on the arena — a nimble glass cannon that rewards skilled piloting. On the cinematic front, I’ve wrapped up the music and audio effects for the new trailer. I started with the audio first (working backwards from the finished sound design), locked in the animatic frames, and now all previs shots are ready to move forward. Next up: polishing the visuals to match the audio.I’ve also modeled a fresh batch of turrets, but they’re still very much work-in-progress. I’ll aim to get…
- Dev update/022026: new walker chassis Ricun-Q - 28 February 2026
Hi!February short Dev UpdateIntroducing the "RICUN-Q", a concept mech from the ATYPID manufacturer.(All concepts shown are still WIP and not final in-game visuals.)The RICUN-Q is built for harsh environments. It's designed to handle extremely rough terrain like its big brother from the H series, while offering excellent mobility. It has the same number of turret slots but fewer for sensors and auxiliaries. The procedural animations have also been tuned since last time, with more walkers added to the list. Collision handling has improved alongside the overall animation system.Thank you!-Alex
- Dev update/012026: new year, plans and new walker chassis Ricun-H - 30 January 2026
Hi!January Dev UpdateAnother new corporation representative.Introducing the "RICUN-H", a concept mech from the ATYPID manufacturer.(All concepts shown are still WIP and not final in-game visuals.)The RICUN-H is one of the flagship units from the miners’ branch. Built for harsh environments, it’s designed to handle extremely rough terrain while offering excellent mobility and a large number of hardpoints for modules, slots, and turrets.Development PlansAt the start of the year, I want to share the current roadmap so we’re all on the same page.MECHSI’ll continue finalizing the remaining mech designs — 5 more to go: • 2 from ATYPID • 3 from a currently hidden corporationThat will bring the total to 15 unique mech chassis planned for the DEMO.INVENTORY — TURRETS & AUXILIARYIn parallel, I’ll be updating all inventory slots.Right now, these are rough placeholders and don’t yet match the overa…
- Dev update/122025: new walker chassis Orm - 21 December 2025
Hi!Holiday season vibes—light progress this month as Christmas approaches.Wrapped up another bipedal mech. Here's concept art for the latest, the "ORM"The "ORM" is a nimble, small combat unit with one turret hardpoint. Its size dodges hits easily in arenas—maximize it in cover-rich spots like urban terrain. This rounds out bipedal concepts for the Steam demo.Up next: spider-like chassis inspired by mining rigs.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Wishing you joy, rest, and mech-tinkering inspiration. Thanks for the support this year—more in 2026! Thank you! -Alex
- Dev update/112025: new walker chassis Sigvern - 30 November 2025
Hi! November Dev Update.I've completed another bipedal mech. Here's the concept art for my next model, the "SIGVERN".The "SIGVERN" has unique turret locations, which should provide benefits in close-quarters combat and urban environments, where angles are narrow and views are obstructed.I spent most of the month testing animation approaches for the bipeds.-The first approach was to create all the animations manually. But this way, I ended up with many rigid animations that couldn't be easily tweaked for future skeletons. Hence, while the skeleton for bipeds is the same (number of bones, etc.), the angles of the bones are different, and the main key animations would need to be redone for each new upcoming mech.-The second approach was to generate them procedurally. In this way, I identify the key parameters for the entire animations and then easily tweak them for the new skeleton. And for…
- Dev update/102025: new walker chassis Kimera - 30 October 2025
Hi! October's dev update for the month.I've finally started implementing the bipedal mechs—a long-awaited feature.Leading the charge is the corporation "Kaisen Works", the undisputed leaders in bipedal mech production. Here's the concept art for their flagship model, the "KIMERA"As a flagship in "Kaisen" lineup, the "KIMERA" embodies the strengths (and trade-offs) of bipedal chassis. These designs sacrifice raw speed compared to wheeled variants, but they excel in maneuverability and all-terrain traversalPilot Trauma MechanicsTo deepen the pilot experience, I've added injury layers. Introducing- trauma chances: in battle, pilots can take wounds that hit performance, like reduced accuracy or mobility penalties. You control it all—mitigate with med kits mid-fight, or manage aftermaths in the hangar via recovery and upgrades. The system prioritizes clarity: intuitive feedback that empowers r…
- Dev update/092025: new tracked chassis Lance - 29 September 2025
Hi! September is coming to an end, so here's the latest dev update for the month.I've been hard at work on a new tracked chassis design to round out lineup. Below, you'll find concept art for the Lance from "Thorva Industries", along with infographics highlighting its key capabilities. This will be the final tracked chassis added to the Steam Demo. The core concept here is to blend traditional tracked propulsion with omnidirectional movement, achieved via a front row of omni wheels. This hybrid approach should set tracked chassis apart from their purely wheeled rivals. Once I've added another chassis type to the mix, I'll circle back to polish these three up further.Battle • Added basic damage support for mechs. All damage from various types received in battle will now be visually represented in the hangar until the mech is fully repaired. • Implemented tracked chassis movement for the L…
- Dev update/082025: new tracked chassis Guard - 20 August 2025
Hi! August has been a bit of a vacation month for me — taking time to rest, recharge, and gather fresh ideas for the project. But don’t worry, things have still been moving forward! I’ve been working on a new tracked chassis design. Below, you’ll find concept art of the Guard from "Thorva Industries", along with infographics showing the chassis’ capabilities. It has a simplistic design, but its low profile gives it a real edge in the arena, making it a tricky target to hit.Take this as your reminder to get some rest too — exciting things are ahead! Thank you! -Alex
- Dev update/072025: new tracked chassis Patriot - 30 July 2025
Hi! I hope you’re all enjoying the summer season—whether you’re traveling, exploring new destinations, or simply taking time to relax and recharge. In July, I have been focused on integrating a new type of tracked chassis into the project. Below, you will find concept art for the Patriot from "Thorva Industries", accompanied by infographics that illustrate the capabilities of these tracked chassis. These vehicles are designed to be highly durable and exhibit significant resistance to kinetic and explosive damage. While their movement speed is limited, they excel in rough terrain traversal, making them particularly effective in adverse weather conditions such as snow, heavy rain, or the rugged landscapes.Stay tuned for the next update, and feel free to share your thoughts! Thank you! -Alex
