Steam summer sale is officially here! We also have a few days left of pride month, so Trials of Proelium is currently 80% off to celebrate the love for yuri stories and characters. If you still don't own a copy, now would be a great time to get it. ːReeneOKː I would also like to share a tease. A sequel is likely to happen. It is still in the early planning phase so it will take quite a long time for it to come out. It will take place in the future and you will play as a new protagonist, but Letha, Yoni and Squalus will be in the game and it will have a yuri theme as well. ːYuutoWhoaː For now though, grab some beers and enjoy the beach with Yoni at one of the sunny districts of Proelium. Hello emperors! I am happy to announce the new update for the game. ːReeneOKːPlease note: Some of the updates listed below will only work when you start a new game! Installing the update or redownloading the game should not ruin your current save file though. I did some testing and it looked alright to me, but some of the glitches and stuff will still be present in any old files. This update is a pretty big one.Big changes:Added a drawn scene when you pick the snuggle option with Yoni while married.Fixed an error where using Yoni's ultimate skill too often would cause it to level up and increase the stamina requirement, making it unusable over time since Yoni's stamina does not increase.Finally fixed the error causing Letha's and Yoni's equipment to randomly unequip itself at least once or twice during a playthrough. It seemed to have been caused by a conflict with the equip level requi…
- The future - 13 March 2026
Hey emperors! The game has been out for a while now and I have discovered a few things I would like to improve upon after playing the game again. Mostly fixing glitches I found, some grammatical improvements, stuff like that. Also, Trials of Proelium sold surprisingly well during the last RPG maker festival, so I have commissioned a drawing of Letha and Yoni that will be shown when you pick the snuggle option. - Post-launch update - 12 August 2025
Hey emperors of Proelium! As is often the case, a few smaller issues were found after launch. Several of those issues have been fixed. If any other issues are found, future updates may come out as well. Thanks for reporting things to me, it helps. ːReeneOKːThe following things have changed: - Cooked food is no longer worth anything to an NPC to fix a money exploit. Uncooked food can still be bought and sold. - Fixed a few typos. - Fixed Yoni not having an opinion of Serenity Island. - The demon down at Snowfox prison did not disappear after finishing her quest and could softlock players that talked to her again. She should now disappear after the quest is concluded. - To avoid confusion at Sodalitas Island, if player's try to use a ship that does not belong to them, Letha will make a comment saying it's not your ship. - Fixed an issue with a letter showing the wrong text when read. - A…
- Remaster is out! - 26 June 2025
Hey everyone!The remaster is finally complete! With reservations for potential glitch patching in the future, but it's otherwise fully complete now. Thanks to the support from everyone that bought the original game! Your feedback helped me make this remaster possible. The remaster comes with new content such as: - Gothfair and Snowfox Valley expanded a little - Several new islands to explore - A new treasure map quest, a love trail quest (requires Letha and Yoni to be married), and more - Defend the fortress mission added to the Port Commercia fortress after Cupide has been defeated The remaster also includes: - Improved turn-based combat system, now more standard rather than the basic engine system - Overhaul of many skills, including Letha and Yoni each having one ultimate skill each. - Update New Locations - 5 June 2025
Hey emperors! Trials of Proelium Remastered is getting some new content! In the last update, I went over the new social menu. Being able to socialize more with Yoni and stuff like that. In this update I would like to share some news regarding content in the remaster. New locations: - Gothfair district has been slightly expanded and now features a semi-hidden area. At this area, a fighting club resides. Summons are not going to be used in the remaster, both so the UI takes up less space on screen, but also to make the game a bit more challenging. However, you can still let your trustworthy companion Mittens fight in the fighting pits to earn rewards for you. - Underneath the church at Snowfox Valley, a new prison exists. - Relationship update - 14 May 2025
Hey emperors! Trials of Proelium Remastered is going to come out summer of this year, so in the not so distant future. A lot of focus lately has been to make Letha and Yoni's relationship deeper with more interactions. I've also been busy with minor fixes and improvements in the levels and doing an overhaul of the different skill trees for both characters. Improvements to their relationship: A social menu has been added to the game. It can be accessed at any time outside of combat and cutscenes while both Letha and Yoni are in the party. In the menu, you can pick "Opinion about the area we're at", which will make Yoni share her opinion and thoughts about the map you're currently at, and "Random chatter" which is exactly what it sounds like, Letha and Yoni will talk about something random. A story from their past, "would you rather" questions, talking about their favorite foods and much…
