Enemy AI & Stability • Fixed several rare states that could leave the Nurse stuck, permanently passive, or unable to resume aiming or patrol. • Improved Nurse navigation around doors, cabinets, corners, and unreachable patrol points. She now recovers faster from patrol loops and investigates sounds on the correct floor. • Improved locker attacks, gun recovery, and respawn reliability, including fixes for rare pistol duplication and visible repositioning. • Fixed the Doctor becoming stuck after interrupted traversal sequences or interactions with the sliding library door. • Fixed long-distance locker grabs that could make the Doctor appear to teleport. • The Doctor now notices players who leave a locker while he is searching nearby. • Fixed Max remaining stuck in his walking animation after safe-zone or teddy-bear interactions. Enemy AI & Stability The Nurse now always drops her weapon when stunned (previously she could occasionally keep it).Fixed the Nurse's arm breaking and twisting after certain grab kills, which prevented her from aiming properly.Fixed the Nurse sometimes turning invisible (while her sounds kept playing) after being shot.Expanded the automatic recovery system so any interrupted grab or kill sequence now recovers on its own, without forcing a restart.Fixed a brief freeze that could occur during locker grabs. Enemies (the Nurse and the Doctor) no longer get stuck or wander out of bounds; they now automatically recover and reposition. The Nurse no longer gets stuck trying to enter locked rooms. Hey everyone! This is a small update focused on improving AI behavior and expanding language support. Updated Content AI Idle Behavior Improvements We heavily improved the Doctor’s idle behavior system. Several bugs were fixed, including an issue where he would randomly stop his actions or animations for no reason. Idle sequences should now feel smoother, more natural, and more consistent. New Language: Portuguese (Portugal) Added full PT-PT translation covering menus, UI, subtitles, and in-game text. Fixes & Improvements Multiple fixes related to idle AI routines. Hey everyone! Here’s a fresh update for Doctor Viscera. Thanks for playing, sending feedback, and helping us keep improving the game. Below is everything included in this patch. Updated Content Performance Update We switched the entire project to baked lighting, resulting in noticeably smoother gameplay. Some of our playtesters reported up to a 60% FPS increase after this change. Engine Upgrade Doctor Viscera is now running on Unreal Engine 5.7. This update improves AI behavior, increases overall stability, and includes several engine-level bugfixes. New Language: Spanish The game now includes full Spanish support.
