It's been a while so I figured it was a good time to check in with some Bru & Boegie news of the world.Firstly, the game continues to sell, especially when it's discounted - thank you for all the support! It's sold 1,395 copies with a 'Very Positive' rating - a fantastic achievement for their first game outing, according to me! I’m pleased proud and privileged to announce Bru & Boegie: Episode 1 – Get da MILK! is included in the official selection for Playtopia 2025, happening 5-6 December in Cape Town. I understand attendees will be able to play the Bru & Boegie game (as well as many other cool games) at game stations, and there looks like a fantastic selection of interesting talks from cool speakers happening over the 2 days. YHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!I cannot contain my EXCITEMENT for this day of launch, where the first Bru & Boegie game gets released to the public! This year has been one of learning, and somehow... here we are! From a little brain-spark last year based on characters I've been drawing and animating for over 20 years, to a game for sale on Steam. I luckily managed to get one after rerouting it through various kind family members overseas where it eventually got to me in South Africa, and though I imagined the game would work well since I purposefully made Bru & Boegie an accessible one-button experience, I was still well-pleased to see the game looked as vibrant as ever, and input worked out of the box without any fiddling. Bru & Boegie: Episode 1 - Demo Incoming!Welcome, friends! Some exciting Bru & Boegie news in this post!I plan to submit a demo for Steam’s NextFest that happens in October, where the eyeballs of an entirely new audience will be exposed to Bru’s extremely bright tighty whities, intended to dazzle and amaze. The Steam version features improved audio treatment and balancing, re-processed voices and some new environmental audio effects. There’s also 14 Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud Saves, so players should be able to sync saves across devices, and play the demo and continue their progress in the full game. Dear peoples of the world, I am coming to you from my little studio in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, to say thank you for visiting the Steam page, I hope you consider Wishlisting the game, and once I'm finished working on my animated Bru & Boegie short film I plan to shift my focus back to the Steam release!
