- Update Notes August 03 - 3 August 2026
With this update, players who finish the Trial Period in the first apartment with a **Citizen Rating** below **5** will no longer be sent directly to the **Reeducation Camp**. Instead, they will be given a second chance in the **Second-Class Plus** apartment. If they once again finish with a **Citizen Rating** below **5**, they will then be sent to the **Reeducation Camp**. The goal of this change is to make the beginning of the game more forgiving for less experienced players, as the Reeducation Camp is significantly more demanding.

Dear citizens: We have updated Dystopicon with a series of minor adjustments based on your feedback. These changes include:A content warning has been added at the beginning of the game.Window size can now be adjusted when playing in windowed mode.The hitboxes of several objects have been revised to prevent accidental clicks.The frequency of certain visits has been reduced, especially in the first-class room, so they appear less often.Other minor internal code improvements to enhance the overall experience.

A lot of your feedback was genuinely great, but we needed to make sure everything fit naturally within the world we had created. That's why we decided to delay the launch until July 27, even though it meant giving up the one-shot opportunity that Steam Next Fest represents.And somehow, before we knew it, that day had arrived.By the way, the last two weeks have been absolutely crazy.
