About this game
Shattered Realms is a dark fantasy roguelite action RPG set in the aftermath of a world-shattering betrayal. As one of the last surviving Guardians of Aetherhold, you must battle through ever-changing corrupted realms, face powerful enemies, and gather the strength to restore balance to the world. Each realm is a fragment of the world’s heart—shards of the Aether Crystal reshaped by corrupted power. To heal the world, you must face those who broke it. No two runs are the same. Procedurally generated maps, randomized wave encounters, and unique world events ensure fresh combat every time you enter each realm. Face enemies with distinct movement, behavior, and attack patterns, wave bosses with challenging mechanics, and powerful world bosses that test the full power of your build. Play as one of several Guardian classes (2 available for early access, more to come), each with unique, powerful abilities. Combine these with a pool of shared elemental and physical magic to create custom builds that fit your playstyle. Inflict a variety of status effects to gain control of the battlefield. Loot randomized gear across multiple rarity tiers, with stat rolls and powerful modifiers. Discover unique boss drops that add high-impact traits to your build and offer exciting new ways to play. Return to Aetherhold between runs to craft new items, enhance existing ones, and reshape your loadout. Every run brings back resources to help you prepare for the next challenge. With every run, you gain both temporary abilities that shape your strategy on the fly and permanent upgrades that strengthen your Guardian long-term. Discover new ability combinations during each level, customize your playstyle, and return to Aetherhold to unlock lasting stat boosts, upgrades, and new gear between runs. Every failure is progress—and every run is a chance to experiment and evolve.
