• Chipmatic 1.1 Update: Late-Game Balancing - 23 April 2026

  Hi everyone! We want to thank everyone for playing Chipmatic. We're a team of two, so it has been a chaotic week full of bug-fixes and a lot of work. We feel the game is now in a good state for its first proper balance update.We've been reading all the feedback (and it was a LOT). Other than the already fixed bugs, it mostly revolves around late-game balancing. The game should be about automation, but also mining. The drill broke that gameplay loop in the late-game, so we've made a couple changes that should make mining a more appealing activity in the later tiers.We've also caught up to some of the less critical bugs you guys reported, and some of those fixes are included in this patch as well.As always, please report any issues or feedback via the Steam Discussions and Discord. • Huge Demo Update! Ground Tiers, Blueprints, Laboratory, Lore, and much more - 2 February 2026

  Hey everyone! We've been working on massive gameplay changes to Chipmatic, and you can try them out right now in the demo. Here's what you can expect: NEW GROUND TIER SYSTEMThe underground is now divided by Tiers. You won't be able to mine to the next tier until you upgrade your drill, encouraging more horizontal exploration. Each tier has its own ore generation, so progressing down will reward you with new ores, more of the old ones, and also...BLUEPRINTSIn every tier, the first chest you open (and sometimes the second) will reward you with a blueprint. These are required to build new buildings, generator types, etc.LABORATORYThe laboratory is now available to construct in the demo.
