• Checkpoints! - 17 September 2026

  Checkpoints are in the game! We hear that it's frustrating to hit a bug, or just... have to quit the game to go do something else... and end up losing a bunch of time. And we hate to see this spoiling people's enjoyment of our work. To fix this, we've pulled a long shift and added a checkpointing feature to the game. The game will track your progress across select shots and if you quit the game and restart, the title menu will have a continue button that'll let you, well, continue. Not every shot is covered, but there's enough you ought to only ever lose a few minutes of progress. No more replaying 2 hours of game just to see the end credits. And if you did lose progress to our launch day bugs, there's some cheatcodes for jumping to some key moments. On the title menu, hold down H + J, and hit... F1 for the Diner, F2 for Birdwatching, F3 for the driving aftermath, F4 for the motel wait…
