In this devlog, we wanted to take a break from the combat mechanics and show you the place where you'll be spending your downtime: The Tea House. Creating a SanctuaryFor us, the Tea House isn't just a generic shop where you click buttons to buy stuff. We’ve spent a lot of time researching the Sengoku period to make sure it feels like a real refuge. We focused on the concept of Jaku (tranquility) everything from the way the tatami mats are laid out to the tokonoma in the back is there to give you a moment of peace between fights.Inspirations & MechanicsOn the gameplay side, we’ve taken some notes from games like Slay the Spire.
