Hi everyone, I wanted to let everyone know that we're continuing to add content and updates for the fans of Advent Rising. The store page on Steam will include a pre-launch trailer that we found in the archives for everyone to enjoy and to get excited once more about the franchise's potential. Within the next couple of days, you'll receive notification that we've also added two DLC packs, covering both the soundtrack for the game as well as the comic book series (six issues). Both will be free of charge for anyone that currently owns or will purchase the game in the future. They'll also be available for purchase separately from the game. We have a lot of exciting things in store and I can't wait to share it with everyone.

Hi Everyone, My name is Ryan and I’m an Associate Producer here at Majesco. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share some news with the community. We first launched Advent Rising in 2005 and to this day we’re constantly amazed and humbled by the dedication and love shown to the game by fans. Even here at Majesco, Advent Rising holds a special place in our hearts. While we don’t have any new titles to announce at this time, I’m pleased and excited to announce that we have various updates planned for the original game, starting with an update to make the experience more enjoyable on modern systems. Commeter GeshGa is willing to admit he really loves Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis if you'll admit to loving similarly crap games in today's Speak Up on Kotaku. It's very easy to come up with 'Games that everyone likes but I hate' lists - for example: Final Fantasy , Halo , Gears of War . See? What's more difficult is owning up to loving a true stinker of a game. I'm not talking about liking a game like say, MindJack ; which was largely terrible but had some good ideas that justify having a place in your heart. I'm talking about true pieces of garbage. Personally, I've always been fond of Aquaman: Battle of Atlantis . It's god-awful, but it's an honest-to-goodness Aquaman game that I can play on my Gamecube. Fancy that.
