• Hotfix v1.1.3 - 31 July 2026

  This is a hotfix for a bug that caused a test save file to persist into the live version of the game for new players. I'm very sorry to anyone already affected by this, as I know it likely spoiled the early stages of the game for you, in particular by skipping the tutorial entirely. If you'd like to start a new save profile to experience the game as intended, you can do this by via the button in the lower right corner of the main menu.

  Hey all, this is a small patch to add quality of life features that a few players requested, and to fix a minor bug, as detailed below:You can now pin/unpin specific cats. Pinning an unadopted cat will prevent them from being adopted manually by disabling the adoption button and LB-to-adopt on the controller. Pinned cats will also not be adopted by the auto-adopter.In addition to the existing option to enable/disable Vsync, there is now an optional FPS cap setting under settings > audio & graphics > cap fps. (Note that Vsync and FPS cap cannot be enabled simultaneously. I recommend keeping Vsync enabled unless you want to set the FPS cap below your monitor's refresh rate to limit GPU usage.)There is a new option under settings > gameplay > swap pet and select, which swaps the inputs for petting and selecting cats when enabled.   Demo version 1.1.0 is now available!This version of the demo matches up with the full version to be released on July 24, 2026, and all progress will be carried over automatically once the full game releases.Compatibility with the Previous Demo VersionFor those who have played the original demo (v.1.0.5 or earlier - released in November 2025), your save file will automatically be imported into the new version of the demo, and you will be notified of this the first time you open the new demo.
