  We're working with a localization team to bring DEADBOOT to as many langauages as we can! We're constantly adding things to the game, so at points there may be temporary translations that our localization team hasn't had time to address quite yet.   Over the holidays we'll be running our first playtest, and sign-ups are now live!! If you've been curious about the game, or want to help us make it as good as it can be, now is the time to get your feedback and ideas heard. The playtest will be a small but polished snippet of the full game, with a limited selection of: EnemiesWeaponsLevelsUpgradesWe need all the feedback we can get to help us make the game as good as it can be, and we're super excited to share what we've been working on! We want to know what you think works, what doesn't, and what you'd like to see in the rest of the game. The playtest will be available in English, but the full game will feature more languages.   DEADBOOT will have you dying a lot, and it's important that each new run feels fresh and interesting. So in the last month we've been working on expanding our combat arenas and environments, and adding new tech to keep things interesting, and keep you thinking on your feet! LEVELS ARE RANDOMLY GENERATEDLevel layouts are dynamically generated, including enemy spawns, item placements, room-connections, and more. DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENTSInside each room, hazards, covers and layouts swap out on the fly, and keep you thinking fast! SPECIAL ROOMS The further you get into a run, the more challenges will be thrown at you. Rooms requiring precise movement, quick reactions, or a challenging gauntlet with a strong power-up as a reward. • It's been two weeks since DEADBOOT was announced. What's next? - 25 August 2025

  First off, thank you for the wonderful reception. The amount of people who wishlisted and reached out with kind words were way beyond our expectations! What we've shown so far is just the beginning! We're now hard at work on testing and implementing a bunch of new features to deepen the gameplay further. Challenging arenas that lock down when entered, beefier enemies, persistent upgrades, new weapons. The list goes on! As development continues, we would love to get your input on what you would like to see added to the game! Cyber-demons, Fatalities, or Speedrun Leaderboards? If you have any burning ideas, post them in the #feedback-and-suggestions channel on our discord! We'll make sure to keep sharing more about the game, and where it's headed.
