- Next Fest & Future Plans - 25 February 2026
Massive thank you to everybody who has joined in during Next Fest and have played the Demo for the first time! We've had a great turn out so far so let's keep the momentum going.I wanted to give a quick overview at what the most immediate updates coming to the Demo will be to look forward to:Overworld objectives and events - things that you want to conquer and control in order to better off your kingdom and ultimately be declared victorious.Tile events - more excitement and danger in the build phase that makes your tiles feel more alive.Enemy players - different rival factions with more personality and behavour types.Combat - more variety in weapons and soldier types as well as more tactile commands.Settler design - how they join your clan and how they will contribute overall.I'll add these to the Demo as soon they're ready, so stay tuned for more updates. Skål!
- Demo 1.2 Release - 17 February 2026
The biggest change to come from this update is the removal of custom building blocks as an option. I've done this to sharpen the focus on resource generation, production, strategy and combat.Hacksilver has been added as a new resource and is only gained by slaying enemies. This resource is now used for upgrading your settlement and buildings.Resources take less hits to break.World generation has been made more interesting with more mountains and valleys.Countless bug fixes, improvements and changes.Stay tuned for the next major patch where I will be adding in different types of tiles and bonuses for claiming / exploring them! This will add an extra layer of decision making in the overworld.

- Demo Released + Planned Features - 9 February 2026
Thanks for everybody who took part in the initial playtest experience, that is now closed! With the release of the 1.0 Demo it's time to look ahead at what's left to be added by time of release. All the work so far has been poured into reaching this core, strong foundation and from here I can take the game to the final vision.Overworld improvementsThe overworld right now is lacking when it should be a much greater part of the game. There needs to be many more choices, goals, risks and rewards for your strategic planning. Hostiles need to expand, attack and compete for goals on the overworld.Tiles should have bonuses on top of their intrinsic value, leading to additional perks for exploring / claiming particular tiles. I also would like to add unique types of themed tiles instead of the current "empty/natural" type.Improved army controls and strategic importance.World ImprovementsAt the…
