Combat Experience & Localization Update - 25 August 2026
• Fixed character selection, roster display, and talent information on the team setup screen. • Prevented battles from starting with an empty team and fixed an issue that could cause an immediate defeat on the first turn. • Improved attack animations, card movement, hit feedback, and the timing of damage and defeat sequences. • Improved text prompts for combat effects, target selection, and key actions. • Expanded localization to 7 languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Russian, French, and Spanish.
Welcome to the Lightspeed Squad PlayTest! - 8 July 2025
We've decided to prioritize releasing the PlayTest version because the game is still in active development, with many details needing refinement. However, we urgently need your feedback at this stage, which is why we're launching the PlayTest version first.The current version features 8 playable characters and introduces the global collapse factor mechanic, allowing players to customize game difficulty for their challenges. We've also included over 100 items (currently completely randomized) to give everyone an early taste of the gameplay experience.
