CODE::LUX is a short, multi-ending, post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure. Through a visual novel and a roguelite-inspired choice-driven adventure, witness the conclusion of two travelers’ journey. STORY In a future where commercial nuclear fusion reactors have become reality. But after a world war destroyed and shut them all down, civilization collapsed. A society without electricity proved far more fragile than anyone had imagined. Now, humanity barely clings to life, relying on small-scale renewable power plants scattered across the land and irreproducible lost technologies known as “Relics.” And yet, no one has been able to restart the dormant fusion reactors. To initiate a fusion reaction, fuel must be heated to over 100 million degrees, turned into plasma, and confined under extreme pressure. This process requires an enormous amount of initial energy—so much that it is almost like needing a power plant just to start another power plant. Humanity no longer has any means of producing that energy. —Except for one girl named Mitsuha. CHARACTERS Mitsuha A mysterious girl who seeks to bring the light of civilization back to the world.
