  Hello bookies! ⚽ Some news: Bet Shop Simulator will be part of Steam Next Fest from October 19 to 26. The festival kicks off on October 19 at 10 AM PT, and the demo will be on the festival pages for the whole week. If you haven't played the demo yet, now's a good time. You take over a boarded-up betting shop: tear the newspapers off the windows, clean the place up and put your own name on the sign. Then the customers start coming in. You scan their slips, count out the change, and when football, Apex GP or horse racing is on the TV, the whole shop watches with you. If a slip wins, the payout comes out of your register. Since the demo came out we've added and fixed quite a lot based on your feedback. A card dealer now drops by the shop every so often, and you can haggle over the price.   Hello, bookies! ⚽ This update is all about cards, plus a shop that sounds a lot more alive on match nights. New in the demoCard Dealer: a visitor who sells you cards, if you can agree on a price. Single Card Counter: sell your spare cards one by one. Shipping from the Collection: pick the cards you want to sell and they arrive in a box. Match reactions: customers cheer and groan while they watch. Card Dealer: haggle for a cardEvery few minutes a card dealer walks in, finds a quiet corner and waits for you with a card icon over their head. Talk to them. The camera turns to the dealer and the haggling panel opens: the card, its market value, the dealer's price and how much patience they have left. Always under market value.
