• Demo Update 1.7.2 - 13 August 2026

  Performance FixFPS has doubled throughout the demo, and in some areas, its more than double!Linux BuildAdded a native Linux build (tested on Ubuntu-based system). While Steam's proton compatibility layer properly handled Window's version on Linux, I added the native build anyway as it may improve performance.Controller SupportAdded proper controller support (across gameplay, menus, settings, etc). Supports PS3, PS4, PS5, XBOX One, XBOX 360 controllers.There's going to be a graphics update next, featuring even more performance improvements. Stay tuned!

• Demo Update v1.6 - 13 October 2025

  Its all just Bug Fixes:Fixed a case where the portal would turn black when standing in the first room's door. Thanks to @Song for reproducible steps.Fixed two walls not having collisions after going through the mirror.Fixed the case where the player would fall through the mirror, instead of going into it, on low FPS.And some Minor visual bugs have also been fixed.Thanks to the community for pointing out these bugs!I'll be working on a big graphical update next, and address the performance issues.

  Content Update:Added some extra furniture to aid with perspective with rescaled doors.Changed up light models for better aesthetics.Bug Fixes:Improved memory management using manually triggered memory cleanups.Fixed some memory leaks.Note: This may improve stuttering or lagging, and in some cases fix freezing.Security Vulnerability:So recently, a security vulnerability that has been there since 2017 was just found. It was a critical vulnerability with Unity Engine. It has promptly been addressed.This patch updates the binary to address the fix.

  With 2 days into launch of the first public demo for Geodyssey, an improvement patch has already dropped. I've been hard at work implementing QoL changes and addressing the feedback received.
