- Devlog #4 – Major Assembly Overhaul Update - 22 March 2026
This is not a small update. The entire assembly workflow has been rebuilt from scratch. If you played before, your old habits will not carry you anymore. The system now expects precision and attention instead of repetition.Core Assembly System RebuiltThe core assembly mechanics have been completely redesigned. Interactions are no longer shallow. You now need to properly execute each step of the process instead of relying on simple inputs.Daily Tasks ReworkedThe daily task system has been reworked. Tasks are no longer abstract UI elements. You now receive them directly from a worker, making the system part of the game world instead of a detached menu.Technical Drawing Sheet MechanicA new technical drawing sheet mechanic has been added. Each sheet clearly defines which part goes where and which color it must have. The process now requires dragging and placing the correct part, then pressi…
- Devlog #3 – Fixing the Foundations - 23 January 2026
It has been two weeks since the playtest was released, and during this time my main focus has been improving your overall experience. As the game’s art director, and as Güven, and also as part of a very small studio, I’ve been wearing multiple hats. Alongside development, I spent a significant amount of time fixing bugs, addressing issues you encountered, and repeatedly playing the game myself to identify and resolve potential problems. Thanks to the game’s visual language and atmosphere, this process never felt discouraging, and I’m happy to say that we managed to release version 0.3 without losing momentum.Looking ahead, there are many things we want to add: new mechanics, new factories, and NPCs that will bring the city to life. However, before moving on to these more exciting features, I felt it was necessary to focus on improving the core experience, even if that meant dealing with…
- Devlog #2 – Arbeiter Playtest is Live - 4 January 2026
We are opening our first public playtest for Arbeiter, a survival management game about everyday working life. You play as a low income worker, planning your days, dealing with jobs, coworkers, burnout, solidarity, and hard choices. You can get fired, walk out, organize collectively, or try to build an independent path. This playtest starts with v0.2, so missing features, bugs, and rough edges are expected. Your feedback will directly shape future updates.Request access on the Steam page and jump in.
- Devlog #1 – So, We Just Opened Our Steam Page - 5 September 2025
Hey everyone,Last night we hit the button and opened Arbeiter’s Steam page. Feels a bit surreal, because this project started with nothing more than a few of us saying, “let’s just try it.” No budget, no big plan, just a handful of friends volunteering our time to make a game about workers, survival, and solidarity. What about Anomalistic Revolution? If you’ve been following us for a while, you might be wondering: “Wait, what happened to Anomalistic Revolution?” Don’t worry, it’s not cancelled. Some of us are still animating and developing things for that game right now. A couple of teammates are splitting their energy between both projects, which has been tricky but also fun.Arbeiter isn’t meant to replace Anomalistic Revolution. It’s something that grew naturally alongside it, because we wanted to tell a different kind of story, one that’s grounded in everyday struggles. So, what is Arbe…
