We’re still hard at work on The Caretaker’s Lease.A lot of the recent development has been focused on rebuilding core systems to make the game feel more realistic and immersive. This isn’t just “a hunting game with snow.” This is a living world — one that’ll soak you, freeze you, and punish your shortcuts. Snow builds up on you and your weapons The wrong outfit out here isn’t just uncomfortable. It’s deadly. Spring: Damp, miserable, nights always cold. Thunderstorms and rain cause you to get sick> Some clothing can help you with that Summer: Calm, but storms sneak up fast. Fall Colors: Beautiful, but dangerous if you're not paying attention. Temps drop fast and the right clothing is vital.

In The Caretaker’s Lease, camo isn’t a vanity skin. The pattern you wear and the season you’re standing in feed straight into the animals’ eyesight. Right suit, right season? They don’t pick you up as far out, so you can work closer before a spook. Wear summer greens in a snowfield and you’re basically holding a neon sign that says “there he is.” On top of that, the suits actually feel different: winter gear keeps you from freezing your ass off, summer runs cooler, spring/fall split the difference.
