  Good evening, bakers! The fryer's sizzling and the dough's rising as we're hard at work making DONUT PANIC the best it can be.Tonight we'd like to inform you of an important new rule for our beloved night crew.Look, we know some of you have been reporting strange hallucinations, and we understand these can be distressing. We hear you loud and clear, employee safety comes first. However...We've also noticed a few too many bakers running off to the panic room at the slightest fright, and while it is there for your comfort, productivity does tend to take a hit when the staff's cowering in the panic room. So from now on, rather than running off to hide in the panic room, we'd like you to consider whether you could simply toss that unsightly hallucination in the incinerator and get back to work! You'll have to stay on your toes though! With this change our staff may now find they're required…

• DONUT PANIC Announced at FGS Live From GDC! - 12 March 2026

  With the support of the wonderful folks at the Future Games Show, I'm thrilled to share DONUT PANIC, an anomaly horror game with a cooking sim twist! Set against the backdrop of a rundown, struggling Scottish diner, your job is to fry, decorate and serve up donuts, fritters and coffee to late night patrons. However, not all is as it seems. Keep a close eye on your surroundings and a closer eye on your customers. At the first sign of anything strange, you’ll need to abandon the kitchen and retreat to the panic room. Identifying your hallucinations is the only way to make it through the night. I'm thrilled to once again be joined by the fantastic John Konsolakis to compose the soundtrack and sound design, and a cast of incredible voice actors and illustrators to bring the game to life.
