• Demo Update: Longer runs, improved tutorial, balancing, and more! - 9 July 2026

  Greetings employees!We've come to realize that 8 rounds a run isn't quite enough, as builds started getting real good toward round 7, we wanted to give you guys a couple extra rounds to let that build finally cook.Of course on full release, you'll have access to endless, but this feels like a better round to end on regardless.We've also:Added a couple more debt checkpoints so you can get even more permanent buffs the more debt you pay off (full game will have many more).Added some pop-up tutorials that show up when they're relevant, as well as expanded the first tutorial slightly.Done a myriad of bug fixes.We do beta tests with more content in our Discord, as we're looking for feedback, so if you want to see more of the game and/or have ideas, be sure to join!Happy scratching!

• Demo Update: New Content, More Symbols! - 18 June 2026

  Greetings Employees! We've added a couple more symbols to bump into while scratching, a Credits symbol and a Multiplier symbol. The Credits symbol will give 0.50 credits per symbol and the Multiplier symbol will give +1 Multiplier per symbol on cash out.   A myriad of changes from some volume adjustments, adding a UI notification when you've unlocked a Loyalty Reward, and balancing. Plus a new option to change how things are picked up for ease on trackpad use.   We're (hopefully) close to quashing the last of the demo bugs.   Greetings Scratchers!We've found that optimizing the gas station scene is important right now, so we went ahead and added some toggles under the options menu for The City and Extra Products. Disabling these will increase your FPS in the Scratch n' Gas! We'll continue to optimize- and we'll also add a middleground option later where you can have some of the city, but we wanted to rush out an update to make sure to minimize FPS lag as much as possible.Thanks to all our employees for reporting bugs and giving feedback! Keep up the hard work, that debt is getting smaller!

• Next Closed Beta Starting Soon! (Mid April) - 1 April 2026

  We learned so much from our first closed beta earlier this year, thanks to everyone who was a part of it!Our next closed beta coming later this month features a more fleshed out tutorial, and more meta-progression unlock mechanics.
