First of all, thank you!The feedback we’ve received since the latest demo update has been incredibly valuable. All the bug reports, screenshots, and gameplay videos you’ve shared have helped us identify problems we might otherwise have missed.And a huge thank you to all the streamers and content creators who took the time to play the update and share Steel Ark with their audiences. We really appreciate it!Of course, we haven’t just been sitting around reading your reports. - Steel Ark Demo: The Automation Mechanics - 13 February 2026
In the next big Steel Ark Demo: Sandbox & Automation update, we’re introducing automation mechanics.In our upcoming Demo Update, we’re introducing some of the core automation systems that will shape the future of the game: conveyors, splitters, refineries, and assemblers.In the screenshots above you can see how we can make an automated refinery. We connect the drilling rigs via the underground conveyors to the splitters (optional but quite useful), then to the refineries (iron ore → iron ingots) and finally into another refinery (iron ingots → steel ingots). From there, we can connect the output to the assemblers to automate production of whatever we need!Optimize it, chain it, expand it - you name it!Join our Official Steel Ark Discord!
