  Version 93 Visual Update If you've acquired the OST and wondered where the Village: Solstice Ice (Winter Mix) song came from, and you thought, "This feels a little different from the free Newgrounds demo of Kiss and Tal" ... you are right! This song was intended for a particular mode and that mode is coming up in just a few days! If you start the game and your computer thinks it's December 21 some ambience will be skinned a little differently.   The most significant soft lock that was introduced in October was if you played the Halloween-updated game (v89) but you're not playing on Halloween ... i.e.; anyone who played the game in November. LOL Apologies! (Spoiler ahead if you haven't figured out the hack of level one's puzzle randomization) SOFT LOCK BUG FIXED! If you played last month, you may have noticed that the game assumed you were a veteran player by requiring village reboots a few times in order to get a functional clue from Sage Mother. And well, that's just not fair, is it? No! The key should be hidden and findable in its usual pseudo-randomized location now. Again, sorry if it seemed Satuly's security was a little overly high for a hot month there.   Bug & QOL Fixes: Part 3 resets if you get a game over PROS: Re-trying Part 3 in the same session will now be a total reset rather than wasting your won herbs CONS: Re-trying Part 3 in the same session will now be a total reset rather than saving anything at all The take away I got from playtesters was that they'd rather start over Part 3 than be confused about where they left off in a losing scenario. Makes sense to me. The randomized herb placements will re-randomize and if you are competing with Ithairk, that competition will also start over. Improvements have also been made to the clarity of the radar. Kiss should underlap the herb by 1 more pixel right and 1 more pixel down, making it a more satisfying radar position.   Yo, humans! The bats have gone wild and the whole town of Satuly is in costume to celebrate what looks like a successful harvest season. Meanwhile, the pans of the forest have become feisty and want to stick themselves in the middle of my romance with the best witch. It's weird how much one of them reminds me of her ... Can you win a new technique for me to surprise my beloved? It depends how well they think we've mastered the forest in a furtive "capture the flag" game. Fortunately, getting to the glade will be easier if everyone thinks my furry body is just part of a festive outfit ... As always, if you need hints or help, feel free to reach out.
