• Update 1.01 - 22 July 2026

  Thank you for all the feedback and comments you’ve left so far. This update addresses some of them. Below is a summary of the changes: enemy balancing in the Outer Bailey and Under Town levels, improved loot drops from mini-bosses in the Outer Bailey level, improved sound effects for some Poison Blades skills, improved descriptions for some skills, balancing of Poison Blades skills, enemy balancing: Golem, Werewolf, Skeleton King and Witches. In future updates, we’ll be focusing on the following improvements: localisation into the following languages: Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Portuguese and Russian, controller support, support for Steam Deck, gameplay and control improvements, new in-game content (mechanics, game modes, story content). Have fun slashing cultists!

• A major update to the demo! - 25 March 2026

  The Cult of Shadows demo was met with tremendous interest, and some of the players shared their feedback with us. We took all the suggestions and feedback into consideration and got to work! Below is a short list of changes. Major balance changes:- reduced enemy spawns,- increased enemy health,- reduced item drop rates by 66%,- reduced item upgrade costs,- improved most skills (effects, usage costs, cooldowns, etc.)Quality of Life:- improved tooltip clarity (e.g., numerical unit descriptions compliant with US standards),- added a loading screen with tooltips,- the attribute menu can be closed again by clicking the attribute menu open button (previously only ESC),- improved item drop distance (they should no longer float in the air),- added a help menu in the crafting panel (bottom left corner of each item),- added tutorials at the beginning of the game (after resetting progress) in the…

• PGA 2025 - 28 October 2025

  Hello!We're just coming back to life after PGA 2025!It was an amazing adventure! Thank you to everyone who came, played, talked, and even supported us with warm words! It's really motivating!As for the game itself... you did pretty well! You killed a total of 16,473 cultists, 15 bosses (actually 15 times the same one :D), and 48 mini-bosses. You collected 6,591 gold and 1,372 items! I don't even have a scale to measure the number of your deaths!Thank you again!
