Grannies don’t take summer vacations. They always find a way to get more jam!We’ve added modifiers to the game: chaotic late-game events that can completely turn the match upside down: a random modifier is activated for 30 seconds.You might encounter:🚗 Grey cars🎥 A top-down camera🔄 Reversed controls🕳️ A black hole that sucks in everything… and plenty more!There are currently 13 different modifiers in the game, each bringing its own unique kind of chaos. 💥We’ve also been working hard on a brand-new trailer that will take over the world. - One year of developing Grannies on Wheels - 4 June 2026
About a year ago we decided to make our first video game. We called it "Grannies on Wheels". The goal was to understand what the whole process looks like from start to finish and to get the first game released on Steam. None of us had ever done that before.Our original plan was to finish the game by the end of 2025. Now, one year later, we’re planning to release Grannies on Wheels in early 2027. So what have we learned along the way? That teamwork and how well people fit together matter more than anything.That having a clear plan is very important but you also need to hold onto it playfully.That the feeling of watching other people play the game you made and having fun while doing it is something magical.So this feels like a good moment to look back at where we came from and how it all started.
