  The demo now has its own store page yay.Also, new update for the demo, including several bug fixes, quality improvements, and more.Added Time Anchors, which are spaced around the world, and allow you to set your spawn point, pass time, and fast travel.Fixed a lot of bugs.Added skill scrolls in chests around the map, which will be used to apply skills to weapons and tools.

  After months of work (and a couple delays), The Bob's Island Demo is now available on Steam, and you can download it for free! Face the four bosses and explore the first major dungeon.

• Development Update - 11 December 2025

  Hi, I just wanted to post a quick update of what I've working on over the past few months or so.The demo is still coming along slowly, expect more news about release dates in the future, but by this point the game is mostly playable, and I've been hard at work fixing a lot of the bugs that have come up during development so far.Before the demo releases, there's a bit more content I want to add to it, along with some more overall polish and optimization.I've also been working on making the game look better and improving the early game progression (which can be a bit grindy at some points), along with adding new weapons, enemies, and areas to explore.Here's some teasers for some new content that I've been working on recently:New boss: Lich King Drine, an ancient skeletal lord that is trapped deep beneath the ground. • Demo Release Date Update - 20 November 2025

  Unfortunately, my original projection of the expected release date for the game’s demo was a bit too optimistic, and I haven't had as much time to work on the game as I had hoped, so the demo release date is being pushed back until is becomes fully polished and playable.Expect more information about precise dates sometime in December or January.

• Demo Coming Soon - 11 October 2025

  I'm excited to announce that a demo for Bob's Island is coming soon, and is expected to release near the end of October to mid-November.The demo will feature around 20 minutes of content as an introduction the game, and I've made a video showcasing the beginning of the demo.
