  A few weeks into our demo build we’re coming back with A LOT of improvements in our first update! Very happy to report that we’ve managed to snipe most of the feedback from your reviews and suggestions from Discord in the past four weeks. Stuff like pathfinding, movement feeling more snappy, units crowding, control grouping buildings, idle builders buttons, QOL features - you name it, it’s here!Speed, pathfinding, movement:General speed of the game - we’ve identified this is largely tied to our turn rate (how fast units turn directions) and acceleration/deceleration. • DEMO IS LIVE NOW! - 18 February 2026

  The big green button is upon us! You can now download the Crimson Freedom DEMO and check out the first two missions of the Red Rebellion campaign! You can expect about 40 minutes of playtime if you're strategic and efficient enough, and we'll keep updating the demo build as we move along with our development progress!   Greetings, rebels!We're thrilled to announce that the free DEMO of Crimson Freedom will be available starting February 16th!In this version of the demo you'll get to play the first two missions of the Red Rebellion campaign. • CAMPAIGN PLAYTEST - Missions, updates and more! - 18 December 2025

  First and foremost - a HUUUGE THANK YOU to everyone that participated in our first play-test, you guys are legends! Our first play-test was nothing short of extraordinary if you ask us, and the amount of feedback we got will keep us busy during the holidays, that’s for sure! While we’re hard at work on balancing everything, fixing bugs and adding your suggestions, we’re also working on our campaign experience which will serve as the main course.You’ll have a chance to try out the first two missions starting from Friday, December 19th. We’ll open the gates around 9pm CET (make sure to join our Discord so you're aware of any delays and stuff) and we’ll keep them open until Monday at least, maybe even longer. • FIRST EVER PLAYTEST STARTS ON DECEMBER 10TH! - 5 December 2025

  Fellow Rebels, the long awaited play-test is coming on Wednesday, December 10th (11am CET) and will last until Sunday, December 14th (3pm CET)!Your first ever chance to try out Crimson Freedom will feature a skirmish map, with you commanding the Red Rebellion faction going up against our Orbis Concordia AI.There’s still a few mechanics missing in the game (like scrap collection), so we’re mostly looking to get feedback on the game's pacing, units design and feel, visual and audio experience and anything and everything that just breaks. And please be aware that things will break, most definitely.   You guys are INSANE! Over 5,000 people interested in our game just based on the trailer and screenshots is pretty awesome to see, and hopefully we'll get even more people on board once we start play-testing and launch the demo!While we're on the topic of actually playing the game, we'll have a first play-test PRETTY SOON (fingers crossed), where you'll get to try out the game for the first time ever.
