  • Meet the Momolito: Rabbito - 1 October 2026

Rabbito is one of the Momolitos you’ll be able to discover in Momolitos. With its rabbit-like appearance and long ears, it starts out so shy that it doesn’t even want to come completely out of its egg.It lives in a forest filled with fruit trees, where the leaves remain yellow and orange throughout the year. It almost feels like autumn never ends here. Rabbito eggs are usually found hidden among the trees. Could this be where the Easter egg tradition came from? Even when Rabbito eventually comes out of its egg, it never completely leaves it behind. The eggshell stays with it throughout its evolutionary stages and is reused in many different ways. It can become part of its body, turn into an accessory, or even take on entirely new functions.Vegetables tend to be some of its favorite foods, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only possible path. Experimenting with other types of food can ma…

  • Momolitos: News - 28 September 2026

Hi everyone!I have a few important updates about Momolitos today! After a long time working on the game, I can finally announce that Momolitos is coming in late October! And to celebrate the release getting closer, I've also prepared a brand-new trailer, where you can get a much better look at how the game has evolved over the past few months.Since I released the demo, Momolitos has changed a lot. I've improved and expanded gameplay mechanics, revamped a large part of the game's visuals, rebuilt and optimized several systems, and fixed many of the issues that were present in that version along the way.The game has evolved to the point where I feel that the current demo no longer accurately represents the final experience. Because of this, I'm also announcing today that the demo will no longer be available starting next week. Now that development is entering its final stretch, I want to fo…

  • Meet the Momolito: Verinhen - 28 February 2026

Verinhen is one of the aquatic Momolitos you can discover in the demo. It lives surrounded by water its entire life, among rocks rising above the surface and calm currents that shape its world. It begins as a small tadpole, and although the most natural outcome would be to become a large frog… with Verinhen, things are rarely that predictable. Its constant expression of surprise follows it through most of its evolutionary stages. It always looks like it’s discovering the world for the first time. That wide-eyed curiosity is part of its identity. Its tail, resembling a soft algae strand drifting with the water, also plays an important role in its evolution. The aquatic environment is not just its home — it defines what it can become. Depending on how you raise it and what it eats, Verinhen can evolve into completely different forms. Some paths feel more natural. Others… go far beyond expe…

  • Meet the Momolito: Kuuron - 24 February 2026

Kuuron is one of the Momolitos you can discover in the demo. With its green and yellow tones and a koala-like appearance, it feels deeply connected to nature from the very beginning. It prefers calm environments and thrives when raised near bamboo. In fact, bamboo plays an important role in how Kuuron develops. Its soft yellow fur stays with it throughout all its evolutionary stages. No matter how much it changes, that bright tone remains part of its identity. But where that yellow ends up… depends entirely on your choices.Depending on how you raise it and what you feed it, Kuuron’s final form can be entirely unique. In some paths, that yellow fur becomes something practical and modern. In others, it turns into something more elegant and expressive.Experimenting with Kuuron is a good example of how evolution works in Momolitos. The same base creature can lead to very different outcomes.Be…

  • Momolitos - Steam Next Fest - 21 February 2026

Momolitos is going to Steam Next FestIt’s official. Momolitos will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest. You’ll be able to try the demo and step into the MomoLab for the first time. In this early version, you can collect creatures, evolve them, and experiment with food combinations to create new Momolitos, each with their own personality and traits. This project has been growing slowly over time, and being part of Next Fest is an important milestone for me as a solo developer. If you enjoy creature collecting and cozy experimentation, I’d love for you to give the demo a try during the festival. And if you’d like to support the project, wishlisting really helps.Hint #1 – Food CombinationHere’s a small hint for one of the Momolitos in the demo. The image below shows the exact food combination needed to obtain it.Thanks for being here and supporting Momolitos. More hints coming soon.
