- Big Bundle coming to an end - 29 December 2025
After the end of this Winter Sale, I intend to retire the big discount bundle that covers all of our pre-Zorana games together. It's just too big and unwieldy and most people don't want to buy all the games all at once, even with a bonus discount. Therefore I intend to shut it down by the end of January and free up more page space. With that in mind I wanted to give people a heads-up because this will be the last chance to get the "buy everything you didn't already own" discount on top of the "everything is on sale" discount. https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/2671/Hanako_Games_Collection/

- Yuri Bundle Update - 5 April 2022
The Hanako Yuri Bundle has now been updated, allowing for a discount on Black Closet as well as other yuri-focused titles. Our latest edition, Night Cascades, features two adult heroines who are forced to work together to solve a series of occult crimes. While this is a visual novel and not a gameplay-heavy title like Black Closet, it does have some puzzle minigames and it should appeal to anyone who enjoys the darker graphics and mysterious tone of Black Closet, as well as more-serious lesbian relationships. - Look out for extra-spooky cases on Oct 31! - 29 October 2020
Remember, if you play Black Closet on October 31 (or April 1st) there are a few bonus case types that can trigger which may not behave like normal cases. Do not be alarmed! Everything will go back to normal once Halloween is over. But if you've never seen the spooky cases, launch the game on Halloween and see if you can find anything weird lurking in the halls of St. Claudine's.... (It's only a couple of case types and they're randomly generated, so they may or may not occur for you.) Thais Halloween artwork courtesy of Saito Ikiru

All titles published by Hanako Games are on sale with discounts of 60-80% off - or buy the whole catalog at once to save even more!
- Happy Halloween! - 31 October 2019
While most mysteries in Black Closet have perfectly ordinary explanations, on Halloween it is possible for mysteries to be generated that are a bit more eldritch than usual, and may lead to CERTAIN DOOM. Do not be alarmed! The school will return to normal once Halloween has passed. Have fun!

- Black Closet Dev Releases A Little Lily Princess - 25 May 2016
A childhood in the hands of Hanako Games can be filled with love and joy, but is always perilous. Long Live the Queen can make decisions like avoiding PE class into deadly mistakes, and procedural detective procedural Black Closet exposes teens to something far more vicious – a private girls’ school. Hanako’s latest, A Little Lily Princess , sends a spoiled girl to boarding school and maybe this time it’s fine. You can make friends and study and whatnot, and that sounds good, doesn’t it? I’m sure this picture of a scullery maid hanging from a roof simply shows a jovial prank. …
- Feature Update (May 2016) - 9 May 2016
A new patch has been pushed out with a handful of changes. The menu should now make it more obvious that "Save and Quit" is an option, if you need to save mid-week. A bug preventing the scene where Althea pulls out of the council has been corrected. The scene has also been updated so that you can make her return skill-training points that have been spent on her, and adds a hint that you should be focusing your training on your most loyal minions. Some minor crash bugs have been fixed. More detail on the most recent update can be found in this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/400580/discussions/0/361787186421906510/ Please use that thread to report any problems. Thanks!
