• Hotfix update 1.1.0.1 - 17 September 2026

  Hi all! Released a hotfix dealing with the cursor issue. Changelog: - Cursor no longer remains visible in a multiplayer setup when the other player unpauses the game. - Fixed issue with "How to..." menu view not rendering "How to start a game" after moving back and forth from the menu repeatedly.

  Sisyphus Endures update 1.1 and other topicsHello, friends of Sisyphus. So this is it. I am releasing update 1.1 which is by far the biggest update to the game so far. Huge chunks of the game re-written, fixed, broken and then re-written again, so rather than trying to give a technical list of all the changes, here's a bird-s eye view of what's changed: Update 1.1 change-list 1. Multiplayer (2-player coop) support This is the key feature of this update which I announced sometime back in May. Sisyphus Endures now supports 2-player co-op which completely changes the whole feel of the game. • The plan ahead: Sisyphus goes multiplayer! - 13 May 2026

  Hello, friends of Sisyphus!This is to drop some news about what has been going on since our last update. The game in its current state is largely a solitary affair (well, you can watch your friend push the rock, but no-one's there to catch it). Multiplayer support is something that I considered a possibility from the start, but it was also clear that the initial release would not go towards this direction. In the past months, though, I have played around with the idea for a multiplayer Sisyphus and can now officially announce that the next update will feature multiplayer support for Sisyphus Endures.For the technically interested, this will be implemented using FishNet framework for Unity.Time-wise, we are realistically talking about the second half of 2026. The two-player collaboration mode will be the first priority, though alternative play styles are not out of the picture either.So…

• Sisyphus Endures update 1.0.3 - Models and Optimizations - 3 February 2026

  Hello, friends of Sisyphus!Time for another update which focuses on the 3D content this time around.Initially the game was largely using 3rd party content for populating the world (go check the credits for more information). This worked well enough initially, however it also put limitations to what could be built map-wise. This remains true also after the current update, but we are making first small steps towards introducing more self-produced 3D content.This includes two main changes: 1) simplifying the meshes of existing 3D models (often reducing the number of triangles as much as 100 times) and 2) creation of new custom assets. We're not talking Far Cry here and more like simple static elements that you can throw together after a few days of Blender.   Hello, friends of Sisyphus!The past few month or so has mostly been about testing the existing code base. This process is, for now, complete and I am slowly moving on with new content.   Hello, friends of Sisyphus!Sispyhus Endures update 1.01 is now live. This update mostly involves menu and UI tweaks.Changelog:- Load game button is now deactivated when no game is selected.- Deleting a game empties the input field displaying the name of the selected game.- Fixed some typos and misleading labeling in 'How to play'.- Kick and pull progress indicators are now slightly better positioned.- Some behind-the-scenes refactoring.
