- Version 1.1.13 - 9 June 2026
More changes to onboarding. - Changes Made the tutorial fully mandatory, forbidding access to the main menu until it is completed, since the information contained within is too important to allow players to skip it. Players who have played previously will be unaffected. Making the game even easier via the custom menu will still disable achievements. Enabled achievements on the Hard difficulty, so the new players wouldn't feel pressured to play Very Hard if they wouldn't enjoy that experience. Even though it pains me greatly to allow people to get achievements without being separated. Enabled achievements for player counts greater than 4. - Bug Fixes Fixed some past versions erroneously not being considered backwards-compatible. - Version 1.1.12 - 7 June 2026
Renaming difficulties and adjusting the tutorial to make things clear to new players. - Changes Renamed the "Party" difficulty to "Hard" Renamed the "Hard" difficulty to "Very Hard" Made the game launch into the tutorial again, and removed the notification recommending first time players play the tutorial. Added an addendum to the voice input settings during the tutorial to make sure it is clear you can't change it in the tutorial. - Bug Fixes Made it so the acknowledge warning button on first launch can't be clicked early. - Version 1.1.11 - 6 June 2026
I've decided to remove some of the difficulty-reducing settings from Party Mode, because it made it so that first playthroughs could easily become death-by-attrition where recovery to a good-feeling state just becomes impossible. Existing save files will be unaffected. - Changes Re-enabled "Delete Save File on Death" for Party Mode. Max strikes on Party Mode reduced from infinite to 20. - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where Red Ghost's custom menu and extras menu entries would erroneously display information about The Jogger. Quick fix for certain breaks saving the previous Depth instead of the current one. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!
- Version 1.1.10 - 3 June 2026
I've been punished for my hubris skipping versions 1.1.2 - 1.1.4 by being forced to take on an ugly Version number to do these minor fixes: - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the Run gate would not open for players with greater than 21 strikes. Fixed an issue where certain explosion deaths incremented the incorrect statistics. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!
- Version 1.1.9 - 31 May 2026
Small changes to onboarding - Changes The game no longer launches you immediately into the tutorial, since some players did not realize they were in a tutorial and could not find out how to play the game. When no public lobbies are available, there is now a prompt informing the player and pointing them to the Discord Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!
- Version 1.1.8 - 29 May 2026
Small future-proofing update - Changes Lobbies now contain the version they were created on so that past and future versions may not be erroneously joined. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!
- Version 1.1.7 - 25 May 2026
This update is really small, just wanted to get some small fixes and balance changes out before I dive into the next big update. - Changes The first Find the Key will now be slightly easier. - Bug Fixes Fixed Hammond not making Find the Key slightly easier. Fixed a small issue where the spray paint can would appear to spray paint if you interacted with certain object that hid the client arm. - Version 1.1.6 - 24 May 2026
The Extras menu has some distinctions from the enemy customization menu now, and several bugs have been fixed. But first, a quick notification: Effective immediately, the Maze Creep demo has been deactivated. I don't believe it adequately represents the game as it stands now and does not serve as a great introduction to the game. - Content Extras menu now displays the amount of times each enemy has killed the player, as well as the amount of times that enemy has be killed, should each value be valid for that enemy. - Changes Death stats are now tracked when achievements are off. Kill stats are still not tracked when achievements are disabled given their relation to achievements. - Bug Fixes Fixed the trigger for the Lovely Day achievement. Fixed an issue with the tracking of strike and doubloon records. Fixed an issue where on launch, audio settings would not be updated until the option…
- Version 1.1.5 - 24 May 2026
This update does not change the gameplay experience (outside of bug fixes), but brings a lot of new content in the menus and features useful for onboarding. - Content Added the Extras Menu! You can read about enemies here more easily than combing through the customization menu, and you can read all notes you have found. The menu unlocks once you have reached Depth 10 regardless of custom settings, and notes or enemies encountered before the unlock will be there upon unlocking the menu. There may be more added to this menu in the future! Added difficulty presets! These leverage the custom mode options, but are easier to work with since they do not require new players to comb through more advanced settings that may be unclear on first playing. The available options are the Party difficulty, which is much more relaxed, the Hard Difficulty, the base experience, and the Nightmare difficulty,…
- Version 1.1.1 - 17 May 2026
This update fixes an issue with certain casino layouts - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where some casino layouts would not function properly and would prevent loading a save file.
- Maze Creep Version 1.1 - 16 May 2026
Maze Creep's first content update is here, with a new enemy and some more small features. I challenged myself to make a full enemy as quickly as possible and this update brings the result. - Content Added a new enemy Psychomouth. - Menu Options Added an option to reduce the volume of extremely loud jumpscares in particular. Added an option to remove yourself from the spectator rotation. This still puts you into spectator on yourself, but you will not rotate back with the setting on. - Changes Save files will now alert when they are from an old version. - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where certain events could cause the maze to not end properly, most notably preventing certain break world generation from being cleaned up. The next content update will not come as quickly; I plan for it to be much larger. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!
- Version 1.0.1 - 15 May 2026

Fixed the trigger for the "That's What It's Used For" achievement Fixed the trigger for the "I Hate Video Games" achievement Fixed an issue where the Mini-Maze sometimes did not clean up between mazes Fixed an issue where clients did not properly display game time on the death summary screen Big things coming soon, join the Discord to stay up to date: Join Here
- Maze Creep!! has Launched! - 14 May 2026
Maze Creep's full release is here! 10 months of working solo finally comes to its conclusion. I'm not done; the first update for the game is already planned out. There will be more details about this in the game's Discord server: Join Here! For those of you who are interested, here's a rough idea of the additions relative to the game's demo: An enemy roster more than double the size of that present in the demo. Tons of new locations to encounter, and a higher likelihood of rare locations in general. Rebalancing, the full version should be noticeably easier than the demo. A brand new custom menu, where you can customize almost every aspect of the game. 50+ achievements to earn. Play with up to 6 players, though more than 4 is not stress tested so be careful. Tons of new items, props, and mechanics I hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as I have enjoyed working on it! Join the Dis…
- Demo Build 9 - 16 April 2026
Changelog: - Content Added checkpoints to the tutorial, you respawn instantly at checkpoints instead of being put in the game over menu. - Quality of Life Items picked up while you have no item selected will be immediately selected. - Bug Fixes Fixed a range of issues where the shadow hands that trigger when the center room is emptied failed to trigger, leading to moments where players were locked out and had to get themselves killed. Since Demo Build 8, 4 new enemies and tons of other stuff have been completed, but none of this content will be added to the demo and is reserved for full release. This may be the final version of the demo barring critical issues caused by this update. The full version is just a month away! - Thanks For 2000 Wishlists! + Demo Build 8 - 22 March 2026
Maze Creep has reached 2000 wishlists! This is deeply appreciated. This update happens to time with the occasion nicely. - Content Added a new cosmetic, the Feminine Mask. Add a gamma slider so that certain high contrast monitors can adjust the value down to make the game's visuals less jarring. - Quality of Life Changes: If the voice service is not logged in, it will fail gracefully rather than loading infinitely. - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue that prevented lowering graphics settings. - Demo Build 7 - 9 March 2026
Changelog: - Content Added the ability to use the mouse wheel to scroll through your inventory. This can also be rebound to another key if you prefer. Added a new lore note. This one always spawns in the lobby, and explains some stuff about the Maze Creep AI, primarily for people who skip the tutorial. Added the Maze Creep info document to the lobby. Added a new tutorial message at the end of the tutorial, informing players to escape through the central trapdoor and that the exit to the maze is always in the center. - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where dying in the tutorial and restarting would fail to reload and freeze the game Since Demo Build 6, 3 new enemies and tons of other stuff have been completed, but none of this content will be added to the demo and is reserved for full release. Join the Discord here to follow development and report any issues! Also, you can post suggestions ther…
