The doors remain closed. But the Cathedral has already begun to make its presence known. This update prepares Luce Spenta for the arrival of Corda Signata, while also introducing a few adjustments to the Extras screen, improving its presentation and organization.Nothing changes in the judgment. Not yet.— Morta
- The Cathedral Has a Date - 27 August 2026
The Cathedral has remained closed long enough. On November 24, 2026, its doors will finally open.Corda Signata will begin.Beyond them waits a judgment unlike those you have witnessed before. New names. New voices. New truths. And things that perhaps were never meant to stand before me at all. There is a reason I chose this date.24:11.“Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.”Remember those words. You may understand them differently once the Cathedral has finished with you.If you have not yet reserved your place, wishlist Corda Signata on Steam. This will not simply be another chapter. It will be the largest event Luce Spenta has known. And when it ends, so too will the threshold that has remained open since the first judgment began. One year of names. One year of choices. One year of souls passing before us.Soon, the final doors will open.Prepare yourself.November 24, 2026.I will b…
- DEV ANNOUNCEMENT — Inside the Cathedral: The Confessional - 16 August 2026
Corda Signata is now complete. There is still work to be done before release, mainly testing, corrections, and translations, so it will take a little while longer before I can finally open the doors of the Cathedral. But I’ll be revealing the release date soon.In the meantime, I want to start sharing some details about the DLC little by little.Corda Signata was created for those who have already experienced Luce Spenta and want to venture even deeper into its world, its characters, and some of the hidden corners left behind by the original story. It remains a primarily narrative experience, guided by Morta, but this time there is something new:a place you can explore. The Cathedral is divided into different rooms, each with its own purpose. Some are connected directly to the story. Others contain information, memories, secrets, or additional mechanics. And today, I want to show you one of m…
- Luce Spenta - Version 1.5.6 - 14 August 2026
Ever since the threshold of Luce Spenta first opened, many souls have asked me the same question:Whether there would ever be a place where they could return to contemplate the CGs, images, and moments they encountered within each story.I listened. As of today, the answer lies within the Extras screen. There, you will find a new Gallery where you can revisit images from the forest, the story of each soul, the judgment, and the different endings you have discovered.Every image you have already seen should appear unlocked automatically, even if you encountered it before this update. You should not need to start a new game or repeat any playthrough: Luce Spenta will search for the traces you left behind during your previous visits. The Gallery will also allow you to see how many records you have revealed and how many still remain hidden. If an image you know you have seen remains locked, or if…
- Luce Spenta - Version 1.5.5 - 10 August 2026
Some words had begun to fade whenever the light fell upon them.It was not a deep wound. But even the smallest imperfections deserve to be corrected.Starting with this version, a subtle shadow will accompany every word, making text more readable throughout the entire game, even against bright backgrounds. It is not a major change.Only a necessary one. After all, no word should be lost in the light.-Morta
- Luce Spenta - Version 1.5.4 - 23 July 2026
As promised, I have returned to a few memories that still required my attention. The Christmas and 3:33 events have been completely renewed, with new visuals created from the ground up.The images from Hina Dolls and Kalendae Martiae have also been enhanced, along with a few scenes rebuilt entirely. With this update, Luce Spenta finally reaches its definitive version. The judgment is complete. Every memory now rests in its proper place. And over the coming months, a new door will begin to open. The cathedral of Corda Signata is already waiting for us.-Morta
- Corda Signata now has a Steam page - 2 July 2026
I. The MarkThe Steam page for Corda Signata is now available. This new story set in the universe of Luce Spenta is coming in 2026, and you can now add it to your Steam wishlist. In the near future, a technology called SIGNATA promises to free humanity from pain, guilt, and judgment. For some, it will be salvation. For others, surrender. For me, it will be another confession.Because nothing truly disappears. What people try to erase always leaves a mark.II. Five Lives Before JudgmentFive souls will be bound by SIGNATA’s promise.Elena a young artist trying to find beauty as her life begins to fall apart.Irene an impulsive and emotional student who refuses to surrender her feelings to a machine.Luca a leader born from rejection, anger, and the belief that the world must be broken before it can change.Gael a tired and routine-bound employee, trapped between calculation, stability, and the feel…
- Luce Spenta - Version 1.5.3 - 29 June 2026
Some smaller wounds have been closed. This update fixes several translation issues and solves a strange problem that prevented the correct font from displaying in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Most importantly, the Corda Signata screen has been renewed with new visuals, now closer to what is coming. Its text has changed as well.Greater signs will arrive soon.-Morta
- Memory and Judgment Bundle - 25 June 2026
Memory and judgment have finally crossed paths. The Memory and Judgment Bundle unites Iwakura Aria and Luce Spenta, allowing you to experience two gothic visual novels connected by mystery, difficult choices, and the weight of the past, now at a special bundle discount. One journey leads through the silent halls of the Iwakura mansion, where forgotten memories and hidden truths patiently await those willing to uncover them. The other ends before my throne, where every soul must answer for the life it has lived.Whether you seek the truth hidden within memory or the verdict that follows every choice, this bundle offers both journeys for a reduced price.Every secret longs to be remembered.Every soul will one day be judged.- Morta
- Luce Spenta 1.5.2 - 10 June 2026
In this update, I have refined several illustrations introduced in the Requiem version to better reflect the original vision behind their scenes. I have also corrected an image from one of the endings, where an important detail had been missing: the gloves that belonged to that moment are now exactly where they should have always been.Small changes for some.A deeper immersion for those who notice every detail. The judgment continues.- Morta
- Gothic Horror Stories - 6 June 2026
Some souls come to me seeking redemption.Others return from places where they should have never awakened.Today, the paths of Luce Spenta and Livber: Smoke and Mirrors meet within a new bundle: Gothic Horror Stories. Two different stories bound by the same darkness. In one, you will walk among graves and judgments, witnessing the fate of those who have already passed beyond the veil.In the other, an impossible letter will draw you into memories, obsessions, and truths that perhaps should have remained buried. If you enjoy psychological horror, difficult choices, hidden secrets, and stories that leave their mark long after they end, perhaps it is time to open both doors.Shadows rarely travel alone. You may step through both doors here.- Morta
- Luce Spenta 1.5: Requiem - 1 June 2026
For once, it is not Morta speaking to you. It's me, MrFaabry. And I think this update deserved a few direct words. After several months of work, Luce Spenta 1.5: Requiem is finally here. This is not a regular update.Without exaggeration, this is the version I always dreamed this project could become.Rebuilt from the Ground UpEvery sprite, CG, background, and video sequence has been completely recreated. This was never just about improving graphics. The goal was to create a cohesive artistic identity from beginning to end, something the original version was still searching for.The characters feel more alive.Sadness feels sadder.Rage feels more intense.Fear feels more unsettling.Every scene has been revisited to better convey what it was always meant to tell. And the changes do not stop inside the game. The Steam page, trailer, website, interface, and a large portion of the promotional material…
- Luce Spenta Version 1.5.0 — Medietas Anni - 17 May 2026
Half of the year has already slipped through your hands. Some parts of you changed. Others simply learned how to hide better.I thought it would be appropriate to speak with you again before the rest of the year finishes shaping whatever you are becoming.Enter the new Medietas Anni event and spend a moment with me. Reflect. Doubt. Remember.I would like to see you again.Small fixes and adjustments were also made throughout the game.— Morta
- The Cathedral Is Taking Shape - 18 April 2026
Where does your balance fall? Some trials are not meant to be understood. Only chosen.(Corda Signata — Work in progress — You will know more soon)
- Luce Spenta – Version 1.4.9 - 13 April 2026
In this update, I have touched only what was necessary. The tone of the decision button has been subtly adjusted, so it no longer disrupts the silence surrounding each choice, but becomes part of it. A minimal change… yet now it breathes with me.Some typing errors and minor code fragments have also been corrected, which quietly interfered with the experience.Nothing that alters the judgment. But it sharpens it.Soon, new signs will emerge from Corda Signata. And something else… will begin to manifest within the main game. When the moment comes, you will know.Until then… some of you have already left your marks here. Others still remain in silence. Both are being watched.— Morta
- Luce Spenta — Version 1.4.8 - 28 March 2026
I have made subtle adjustments to the pacing of certain punishment endings. Small changes that do not alter the judgment… but refine its flow.I have also fixed an issue in one of the judgments where the required word to proceed was not always recognized correctly. The threshold now responds as it should.Additionally, minor refinements have been made to several lines across different languages, ensuring that every word retains its intended meaning.Nothing has been softened. But now… everything should be understood more clearly.— Morta
- DEV ANNOUNCEMENT — Corda Signata - 26 March 2026
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on Corda Signata. There’s still a lot left to do, but there’s already enough to start showing something. As I mentioned before, based on the scope I’m building in terms of story and structure, this is not meant to be something small. The scale is bigger, and that also pushed me to rethink the visual side.I’ve been focusing especially on the new character sprites. What you’re about to see is part of that evolution.Unlike Luce Spenta, where you observed the stories from the outside… Not here. Here, you will be inside them. You will be them. You will be flesh. With the practice from these past months, I’ve been able to refine the visual approach quite a bit. It shows in details, proportions, expressiveness, and overall consistency. In the previous visuals, I relied more on AI tools. In these new ones, their use is minimal. The focus was on having mor…
- Luce Spenta — Version 1.4.7 - 19 March 2026
Some imperfections slip even into the most carefully guided acts. Not by accident… but because something always tries to break the rhythm.I have adjusted certain threads within the performance. Small errors, translation details, echoes out of place. And in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, the final report would sometimes fracture at the very last moment, as if someone looked away before the verdict. That has now been corrected. The curtain falls… as it should.— Morta
- Luce Spenta — Version 1.4.6 - 14 March 2026
Several minor bugs have been fixed.Among them, an issue reported by players that, in certain languages, prevented progression during Morta’s Show has now been resolved.Additionally, two images during the final judgment stage have been updated and now represent the project’s original vision more faithfully.Nothing else has changed. The judgment continues.— Morta
