- Development Update - 25 December 2025
Hi everyone,It’s been a little while since the last update so I wanted to take a moment to share where Optasia: The Last Visit is at, and why things have been quiet.Over the past few months, development hasn’t stopped, but it has slowed down intentionally. - Devlog #4— The Carnival - 18 October 2025
Hey everyone,Quick update from development work on The Carnival Scene on Act-2, one of the core segments in Act 2: Distortion, is nearly complete. This section sits right in the middle of the game, where the asylum world begins to fracture and memories take over. The Carnival isn’t a full act on its own it’s a memory space inside Act 2, built around fragments of joy and regret tangled together. The goal for this area is to blend nostalgia and dread, showing how even good memories can rot when they’re trapped too long in guilt.Next, I’ll be finalizing lighting transitions between the carnival and the following space where reality starts to fully collapse. Thanks again to everyone playing the demo and sending feedback every note helps make these spaces feel more alive and personal.C.A
