Hello Massacrists, (did you know that was a word?)This is the third time 34BigThings is being born.The first time is a story we’ve talked about extensively in the past, possibly because it’s been 13 years. The second time was when 34BigThings was acquired by the Embracer Group in November 2020. We didn't feel the need to communicate much on the topic at the time; after all, we thought, "This is a great chance to just focus on making games."If you’ve followed the gamedev ecosystem over the last six years, the next part won't surprise you. We were put under the guidance of Saber Interactive and were asked to scale up, to absorb more and bigger productions. Then, the business of making games became risky and costly. Redout: Space Assault page has been updated with our new pre-alpha gameplay video and a few screenshots of the current stage of the project. There’s still a lot to do and listening to your feedback about the multiplayer focus has been of great help for us. Space Assault has now a lot more content on the single-player campaign and the arcade feel of the game greatly improved in the last couple of months. Last weekend, Hyperdrive Massacre was at the Milan Games Week. Thanks for all the players who stopped by, those who came looking for us and the (many) others who stopped by on their way to try other games.
