• New Name, Same Great Taste! - 6 June 2026

  As some of you have already noticed, the game's name has changed! Why? Well while nick¹s recursive videogame⁴ about deciphering word¹⁶ puzzle⁷⁹s to discover your identity²⁵ and redefine the universe³¹⁸! is a really cool name, it was making my life more complicated in a few ways. It was way too long and the superscript characters were a bit of a pain to manage. The new name is:Misnomers by Nick OueijanHas anything about the game changed?No!It's just as weird as it was before, only now I don't have to keep the whole name in my clipboard every time I want to type it out :)Also kinda proud of the new logo design so happy with that!New update soon!

• Poems and Snippets Added! - 15 October 2025

  Poems and various other snippets have been added to the game as additional fun to experiences after completing a Glossary (AKA a level of a bunch of words). They're in the phrasal template game format, which feels short, sweet, and peppers in some light narrative elements to help tie in the overall experience together. I'm feeling pretty good about this one!Here's one of the early poems. The words in green have been previously defined by the player (whatever they happened to be!) and used to fill in the sentences - Check it out!Let me know what you think!
