About this game
Splice Mythic Beasts. Conquer the Circuit. Bet and Win. Overview Chimera Circuit is a pixel-art tactical racing simulator set in a dark fantasy world inspired by 90s ASCII aesthetics. Splice two Chimeras together using over 100 unique chimeras from 10 Clades, each with distinct skills, as options. From EQUINE to SPECTRAL to UMA there is bound to be a Clade that resonates with you. Choose from four racer types—Front Runner, Stalker, Mid Pack, or Closer—to define your strategy. Creativity is rewarded with a total number of combinations reaching past 1,000,000, between game effects and visual style. Unlock new species through career racing, bet on outcomes, and dominate the track to build your legacy. Progress through a 12-month career, selecting runes after each race—some grant advantages, others impose penalties, adding rogue-like tension with limited lives. Try splicing two of the same Chimera, young Splicer. Intermission (Shop / Training / Betting) Between races, manage your chimera during intermissions. Visit the shop to purchase items like syringes for extra training actions or bandages to heal injuries. Train to boost stats—SPD for velocity, STM for stamina regen, POW for collisions, TEC for terrain handling, WIL for resistance, POT for growth. Review racer stats and bet on favorites or win-place-show outcomes before selecting a track. Racing Compete on dynamic tracks with varied terrain, weather, and times of day. Position updates in real-time on a grid-based course, with ranks shifting as chimeras overtake. Activate clade skills using stamina orbs—timing is critical for buffs, debuffs, or positioning. Finish first to earn dust (the currency of this world), t…
