  With the version 1.920 uploaded to Steam on July 2026, Dream City Fugitive has reached full release version. With that, the game is available to be purchased on Steam from August 4, 2026. So, what can be expected from the full release version? When we outlined designs of the game back then at the end of 2020, we want to create a combat heavy game which takes place in Dream City. We think we successfully delivered on those designs.Early part of the game revolves around player navigating dangerous life of surviving as a fugitive on a small island populated by a few gangs and poor citizen. The game forces player to make a major choice at the early part of the game which split the storyline into 2 separate story branches.If player chooses to join the vigilante group, player will be taken to Path A storyline. • Dream City Fugitive Updated to version 1.911 - 3 April 2026

  This is the first time Steam version for Dream City Fugitive has the same update parity as the version uploaded to Play Store and itchio platform. This means Steam version has the same content and features as the version uploaded to both platform. The demo version also has been updated to version 1.911.1) Content - you can play prologue, Act 1 and make decision to join the vigilante group to play Act 2A and Act 3A. This is considered Path A playthrough. It is now possible to complete the playthrough to get a proper game ending. Alternatively, if you make decision to refuse to join the vigilante group, you get to play Act 2B. This is considered Path B playthrough. • Demo for Dream City Fugitive is Now Available on Steam - 8 March 2026

  You can now download demo for Dream City Fugitive on Steam. With no time limit, the demo allows you to play prologue, Act 1 and some part of Act 2A. There are 13 quests (4 main quests and 8 side quests). All side quests from the main game are available in the demo so once you've reached limit in main quests, you can still play the game to carry out more side quests especially side quests related to the fight club.Save progress in the demo is compatible with the main game which means you can continue playing the main game (once it gets released) from the progress you've made in the demo. This also means should you unlock some achievements in the demo, it should also unlock on the main game. • Important Milestone Achieved for Dream City Fugitive - 31 December 2025

  This month I've been able to complete the most important milestone for the game - completing Path A storyline. This means if you play the game from the beginning and choose to join the vigilante group (Path A), you'll be able to play the game until the final part when your squad will undertake mission to destroy the underground lab. If you managed to handle 2 difficult combats, you'll get to proper game ending.This important milestone gets the game closer to release status. My next plan is to work on demo version for the game so I have to do full implementation of keyboard support for the game. Currently you can play most part of the game with keyboard but a few parts such as combat still use only mouse interaction. This needs to be addressed. • Dream City Fugitive Upcoming Release on Steam - 3 October 2025

  Hi, I'm Edy Kajang, the developer for Dream City Fugitive. I've been working on this game for the past several years. Currently the game is available as early access version on mobile and PC platform. There's a plan to release the game on Steam sometime next year (2026) once most content for the game have been completed. Dream City Fugitive is a technically a reboot game. There's a quite bit history of the game which can be traced all the way back to 2017 when I'm working on Dream City Living game. It's a fork to Dream City Life, a text-based life simulation game that takes place in a fictional Dream City. With Dream City Living, player was able to explore the city as a person in top down view like what normally the view used in typical RPG Maker games.
