• Sharper Combat, Clearer Visuals & Better Achievements - 6 September 2026

  This update brings a fresh round of polish to Slug Survival:- Punchier rifle sounds and clearer, distinct shot effects.- Softer arena lighting, stronger contrast and restored ground detail.- Smoother transitions between gameplay and boss music.- More achievable wave, boss, score and survival milestones, with refreshed achievement artwork.- Fixed missing achievements for eligible saved progress, plus smaller stability improvements.Achievements you’ve already unlocked will stay unlocked.Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback. • Weapon Power Update - 27 June 2026

  This update makes weapon upgrades more rewarding and keeps strong runs feeling better. Weapon power no longer downgrades when you take damage. Once you build up your firepower, it now stays active until death or restart so your run does not lose momentum from a single hit. Health pickups have also been improved. They now drop directly from defeated slugs instead of appearing in random nearby locations, and you need to move close enough before they fly in. Recovery now feels more connected to combat and positioning. Enemy movement and wave flow have been polished, with better stuck recovery, smoother slug motion, improved weapon upgrade HUD feedback and general pacing improvements across the game.   Hey survivors,I’ve been quiet for a while, and I’m sorry about that.Slug Survival launched in December, and since then players have pointed out several things that were broken, unclear, or simply not feeling right. I’ve been reading the feedback, bug reports, and discussion posts, and this update is focused on addressing some of the most important issues.This is not the final stop for Slug Survival, but it is an important repair and polish update. 🏆 The Leaderboard Is Fair AgainSome impossible scores had made it onto the leaderboard.Those invalid scores have been removed, and the issue that allowed unrealistic leaderboard values has been fixed. The leaderboard has been cleaned up so everyone can compete on fairer ground again.Sorry to legitimate players who had real scores affected by the reset. I know that is frustrating, but cleaning the board was the fairest way to move forward. 📡…

• Leaderboard Update & Score Validation Fix - 12 February 2026

  We identified and removed a small number of invalid leaderboard scores caused by a scoring overflow issue.Additional score validation has been implemented to prevent unrealistic values going forward.A big thank you to players who reported the inconsistencies.
