About this game
Hell is in a state of unrefined chaos. As Beatrix, you have been summoned to the Circles of Hell to uncover an anomaly rotting the afterlife. To restore order—or dismantle it entirely—you must master the Psychomachia ("battle of the soul"), craft a lethal build of Canones ("Canons")—powerful effects that alter your battlefield—and survive a descent into the frozen heart of Treachery. Enhance traditional deckbuilding with the Canones ("Canons") System, a deep board-build strategy. Canones ("Canons") are persistent effects deployed at the start of battle to redefine how the board functions. By selecting a starting Genius archetype and collecting rare Reliquiae ("Relics"), you can layer these effects to trigger massive chain reactions. Whether you're enhancing card values or automating Regiones ("Regions") conquest, success depends on your ability to build a board-wide strategy that works for you. Inspired by the spatial logic of Triple Triad and Othello , every card placement is a high-stakes bid for territory. Encircle your enemies horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to initiate a Card Clash, testing your cards’ Potentia ("Power") against the damned and Custos ("Guardians"). Win the confrontation to flip enemy units to your side, using their own strength to seize control of the board. A single clever move can turn a crushing defeat into a total takeover of the field. Your journey through the Circles of Hell is a reactive experience where your decisions physically alter your power. Encounter a cast of eerie NPCs and grotesque Bosses rendered in a striking, dark-eerie aesthetic. Upon defeating the Custos ("Guardians") of Hell, you act as judge: your verdicts and your moral convictions dictate the growth of your build. No two runs through the afterlife are the same. With 22 Major Arcana cards to power up and over 100 Canones ("Canons") and Reliquiae ("Relics") to discover, the tactical possibilities are infinite.
