VERDURE is an odd generator of plants and trees! It is a creative sandbox where you can trim branches and experiment with growth controls. While there is a tutorial with a few objectives to get you started, VERDURE is primarily for open-ended plant design. Whether shaping a small bonsai tree, letting maple branches sprawl freely, or exploring how different settings affect them, you're the artist! Each plant is generated from a unique seed that can be customized through a wide range of parameters, including trunk thickness, branch curvature, foliage shape and distribution, and color palettes. The original soundtrack, retro visuals and little hands-on growth interactions (like feeding a UFO to grow bigger plants) also give the game its distinctive feel.
