There is a disturbance in the city. An unknown force is establishing its power and has deployed sentries across the rooftops of the city. The rest of the citizens are on edge and responding aggressively to anything that appears threatening. An insurgence is to be carried out by those strong enough to oppose this emerging danger. Only then can the source of this danger be uncovered and the looming threat be eliminated. Only then will the citizens find peace and the city move forward. OBJECTIVES AND FEATURES Powers Downtown is a turn-based combat RPG that features a unique fighting system. It is set in a modern-day city in a world where martial artists, gunmen, samurai warriors, cyborgs, enhanced individuals, and regular civilians coexist with each other. Your objective is to roam the rooftops of the city, battle enemies of varying abilities and gain experience when defeating enemies. Search for strong fighters to recruit and build a formidable team. Recruit fighters into your team by defeating them in one-on-one battles where every decision you make in each turn matters. PICK A BATTLE RANGE The battle can move to long, mid, or short range. Each character has a unique set of attacks and moves for each battle range. DECIDE THE BEST ATTACK EVERY TURN The choice you make on each turn is vital. Some attacks can inflict a lot of damage but is slower to execute, making it easier for the opponent to perform a defensive maneuver. Others may be less damaging but harder for the opponent to react defensively. Also consider the attacks' energy requirement, their accuracy, and their damage type. NOT ALL DAMAGES HURT THE SAME There are various types of damages. A punch that inflicts mostly 'power' damage may not affect an opponent with a high 'power' defense. But the 'cut' damage of a blade will deal a greater damage if that opponent has weak 'cut' defense.
