  This will potentially be the last update I make for the demo unless there's something else important to fix or change later on. I like making sure players get the best first impression of the demo possible so then they can decide if MKR is a game they'd like to wishlist or purchase when it releases in the future.Star that appears on the main menu after beating Act I will turn red if beaten on hard difficulty.Added hinges to doors of safes for a bit of extra detail.Fixed issue where after an animation involving Mooshie in the Cold Storage area, if the player has their crowbar equipped, it becomes unusable unless they unequip and equip it again.Fixed glitch involving the player being stuck in the rotation animation during cutscenes until the player does the speaking animation. • Demo Version 2.2 Fixes & Changes - 8 May 2026

  Changed up Fernie password letter so the text only shows when the letter is actually interacted with. This is to stop confusion in case players see the letter from the optional first-person view and forget to interact with it, causing them to think the game is soft-locked.Fixed the space between the control key and the "]" in video scenes.Player is now teleported into an ideal position when starting conversations or cutscenes.Added small screen fade between most conversations/cutscenes (before and after).Fixed toilet paper being able to be picked up again after leaving the Janitor's Closet and entering back in. Other items might've been affected too but I only noticed it with the toilet paper before fixing the bug.Fixed dog saying "ouch" again when you attack it (in third-person). I fixed this in this last update, but it only changed for the first-person attack system, not third-person.…

  - Fixed warning screen not finishing the first half of the text properly in the first half of the text scroll.- Fixed rendering issue with OpenGL to do with in-game videos.- Fixed Doggo saying "ouch!" when hurt. (Yes, the dog could speak).- Updated the mouse cursor.- Bloom Intensity slider now locked when using OpenGL.- Fixed Act I ending music not changing volume according to music volume slider.- Fixed 'Mooshie's Favorite Fan' in-game achievement unlocking when only 12/13 achievements needed are unlocked.- Fixed enemy reveal cameras sometimes causing player camera view to soft-lock in first-person if they're currently using first-person view.- Fixed soft-lock where if you unlock the safe in the meat production area and then leave the area without speaking to Fernie, upon going back into the room, you can't speak to him.- Other minor fixes.
