  First of all, hey hikers. It's been so great seeing you in these strange woods. A couple of big updates! Save Profile ResetStarting off, the new additions to this updated meant that I needed to rethink how I saved some of the game data. So unfortunately, this will trigger a reset on all save profiles -- I'm sorry, I will try not to do this again. But that's the only bad news, the good news is...   I am excited to be a part of Endix Showcase to show off Night Hike in a unique and creative way. What is Endix Showcase? Endix is a free virtual/digital event built as a game in Unreal Engine, this allows you to join the Showcase on your own terms. • Night Hike is officially live! - 16 February 2026

  Announcement MonthIt has been a month since I officially announced Night Hike on Steam and I'm really thankful for the interest and positive comments I've gotten so far. The weeks before launch I had spent most of my development time working on the art direction, atmosphere and vibe of the project and I'm pleased how it's come together. While there is still much to be explored and explained, the visual state has allowed me to piece together an announce trailer that a few media outlets shared and the vision for Night Hike is now realized.What's Next?Since the Steam page went live, I've been back to the development grind with a healthy balance of gameplay features and building all the necessary settings for localization, screen sizes, controller support, etc. I'm also applying to a variety of festivals and events to help spread the word.The next major milestone will be the first playable…
