Game Content: The game’s plot is based on the nationally shocking "Ma Jiajue Incident" in 2004, where he murdered four classmates in a dormitory at Yunnan University. From being a "top student" to a death row inmate, Ma Jiajue endured immense hardship and ridicule throughout his life, which ultimately led him to make a catastrophic decision. The player assumes the role of a passerby, exploring different maps: Ma Jiajue’s home, his middle school, his university, his dormitory, the prison where he was held, and his final destination—the shore. By finding and conversing with NPCs on each map, the player gradually unlocks the full story. Message from the Development Team: We hope everyone learns from this story—never mock or bully others, so that the world may see one less crime. Reflections from the Development Team: Looking back at Ma Jiajue’s life, it was undoubtedly filled with hardship. Born into a poor family, he worked hard to get into a good university, yet daily faced ridicule and discrimination from classmates. The mockery and betrayal from those around him pushed him to make a destructive decision. In hindsight, that decision was undoubtedly wrong—a tragedy for five families. From Ma Jiajue’s life journey, I believe he was originally a sensible child. It’s unimaginable how much pain and humiliation he must have endured before reaching such a point.
