• Still Alive, Still Working - 25 July 2026

  The game is built heavily around mystery, so I haven’t been able to share much without risking spoilers. Development has also taken a little longer than originally planned, but there’s now very little left to finish.I recently made a small tool to help me track visual changes during optimization, and while testing it on videos, it created some strange, horror-like GIFs. I thought this would be a fun way to share a little more of the game without revealing too much.I’m working to wrap up the remaining tasks as quickly as possible, and I’ll be announcing the release date soon alongside a new trailer.Minor spoiler warning: the GIFs are taken from scenes, so anyone who wants to stay completely spoiler-free may prefer to skip them.

  Triss Clickbait Triss is a journalist. Clickbait specialist. Every case finds its way onto her radar — or she finds her way onto the case's radar. She has an answer for everyone on the team. Serious when it counts, funny when it doesn't, knows her way around technology, finds leverage like Raymond does. She solves cases her own way. That way is strange. It works. A friend. That's also part of the problem. Without what she digs up, the case doesn't move forward — but nobody would be surprised to see it on the front page the next morning. Every case, she shows up for a new absurd reason. Figuring out why she's involved this time is sometimes more interesting than the case itself.

• Meet the Cast: Alice Justice - 23 April 2026

  Alice Justice Alice is the team's forensic technician. Every case needs her before it goes anywhere — she brings a different angle to the evidence every time, and she keeps doing it in ways nobody sees coming. Diana's younger sister. Nothing about her suggests it. Alice seems to have successfully ignored everything that made Diana serious. The shyest member of the team. She has feelings for Max. Everyone on the team knows. Max appears not to notice.

  Diana Justice Diana is the prosecutor on the team's cases — investigations need her sign-off, evidence has to reach her desk before it goes anywhere else. Rules to the end. Justice is the core, procedure is the structure, neither one is negotiable. Rival or ally? Depends on which side you're standing on and what you're holding. There's something between her and Max from before all this. Neither of them talks about it. At some point, they won't have a choice. In cross-examinations, she's Max's closest ally. Whether that's purely professional is something neither of them has answered cleanly.

  Lucy Harper Lucy didn't end up in law enforcement by accident. She grew up in Dockside — her family has a name there, she doesn't elaborate, subject closed. Becoming a cop was a decision she made to get out of something. She made it work. The most colorful member of Major Crimes. Talks, laughs, fills the room. And when it comes to it, fights better than anyone around her expected. Max's partner. Starts as just the job. Gets more complicated than that.

  Raymond Hardnose There are things from Raymond's time in the Army he doesn't discuss. The people who were there with him don't either. What came after that was a decision quiet, deliberate, and years in the making. Now he runs Major Crimes. He knows something about everyone. Everyone owes him something. The power he's built isn't sitting on a shelf it's there so his team can move forward without looking over their shoulders. Is he one of the good guys? Wrong question. If you're on the right side, he'll be there when it matters. If you're not, he won't come for you directly — things will just stop working out. When the team hits a wall, Raymond removes the wall. How? Don't ask.

  Max Steele Before the detective badge, there was the Army. The Army part has documents missing — entire operations stopped existing on paper and everyone involved found it easier not to push. He and his commanding officer left the same week. Neither explained why. Now he's a homicide detective in Major Crimes. The city sends him its worst cases. Everything else finds him on its own. Absurd situations, strange people, problems that shouldn't be his — they all end up being his. In Pussy Pass Denied, you step into his shoes and take control to solve these strange cases.
