  It's been a few weeks since the game was featured in Next-Fest and I have been busy preparing for launch. I have combed over many of the games systems to make sure everything is as balanced and polished as I can get them.A lot has changed, mainly around the game's difficulty and accessibility. My vision for the game is to make an experience that engages players and makes them want to learn more about the world. But at the same time, I think it's important that a game has goals and challenges for players.So my main focus now that all of the games content is in place has been trying to find a level of difficulty/accessibility that is rewarding but not too much of an obstacle.To that end I have added several ways to make the gameplay across all maps easier to pick up and learn.This includes player markers to help with the player orientation, NPC markers on maps where they aren't always eas…

• Release Window Update, Demo Feedback and Developer Page - 29 January 2026

  Greetings from the developer.As the launch of Lifecycles of the Traveler Spider approaches, I will be taking steps to Improve the game so It will be as polished as possible for launch.Starting with Improving the demo, and possibly holding a closed beta test (expect more info on this at a later date).For now, I have set the release window for the main game to April.   Greetings from the developer.I'm excited to share my newest game, Lifecycles of the Traveler Spider!It's what I like to think of as a delightfully surreal space walk through the ages in an alien galaxy!Guided by the voices of your ancestors, You will lead the the otherwise unintelligent spiders through wind, snow and molten lava.Every few thousand years in their galaxy, the spiders must live through the destruction and regrowth of their home.Don't blame them though, it's (technically) not their fault.
